Hello, I am Marie

I'm 17, turning 18 on November 7th this year. I did have a very involved profile before, having lots of things to read, but I decided to edit this and start fresh.

I grew up in a small hick town in Eastern Manitoba for most of my life and this past Semptember I moved out east into Ontario. Specifically to Waterloo, Ontario. I love being a Canadian of course.. and I'm damn proud of it. I am attending Wilfrid Laurier University, majoring currently in Psychology. Next year I'm switching over to having Sociology as my major and possibly Psych as my minor. I grew up being bullied, depressed, and alone often.. I was the freak.. I never belonged in my town or anywhere I went.. but now it's different, I'm away from there.. free and happy. I have lots of friends now as well. I was in cadets for like 6 years and went to be staff this past summer for 7 weeks in Alberta ... met amazing people there <3. Great summer this year because of them.. there are things in my past that still bother me, but it's because of Izzie, and my friends that I can get past these obstacles. My life rocks <3. Without the people I care about .. I wouldn't have anything.. don't fuck with them or I'll fuck with you.. I can promise you that. I'm one of the nicest people in the world if you're not mean or on my good side. If not.. you're well.. not going to be very happy about what kind of person I can be toward those I cannot and willnot stand. To me, she is my world, I can't stop thinking about her, dreaming about her and wanting her... I am lovestruck, lovesick, and smitten by her. We've had our rough moments in the recent times, but finally things worked out and now things are stronger than ever. I thank "God" for her all the time and I'm not even a Christian. I love her .. like I love the night.. she's the breath of fresh air that frees my lungs from the poison. She's my heartbeat and my purpose. I love her... so much.. My friends

The best friends in my world are not only my Girlfriend, but Holly and Logan. I wouldn't be able to live without these people.. as well as mention my other friends.. you guys mean the world to me <3

Holly

Her, Logan, and Izzie, are by far my best friends in the world. I love her to death <3 She's the one I can talk to about anything and the friend you need when you are feeling like shit... I can depend on her and I am so thankful for having her. Thanks girlie <3

Logan

He's there for me when I need someone the most. He's a great cuddler and a great hugger.. the best friend a girl can have. I hope him and his boyfriend work out.. he deserves the best <3 Love you Logan!

University

So I came to this crazy city called Waterloo, in Ontario, Canada. I lived in a small hick town for most of my life back in Manitoba, called Lac du Bonnet. Big change for me... going from the country to a city within the most populated part of Canada. I love it here, I'm attending Wilfrid Laurier University for a BA in Psych (soon to be switched to Sociology)... I love it here though.. made some amazing friends here.

First week here was Orientation week, I was apart of the Gold Vikings team.. I wore a yellow tshirt that said "do we make you horny baby?" and it had a viking helmet on the front and on the back it said "no village is safe" o week 09, Gold Vikings.. or something simlar.. but either way yeah. I also got to parade around in gold shorts and a viking helmet, as well as carry a plastic sword.. so yeah.. "sail fight pillage and burn!" ^_^

My Idols/Heroes/Heroins

1. Sharon Den Adel

She's the singer of Within Temptation, my close second... favourite band in the entire world. This woman is amazing, her vocal range is .. just to die for.. and I dream of a day where I get to see her in concert. She's beautiful, and her voice just makes me melt.

2. Logan

What can I say?(the guy on the right)He's my best friend and such an amazing musician and I love to hear him sing.. he's my inspiration for many aspects of my life and I miss him dearly.. since I'm 1200 miles away from him in university.

3. Izzie

Okay, this is the girl.. who gives me reason to breathe.. to give an effort in life.. my sense of purpose in a world where sometimes we feel there isn't any point to anything at all. I love her.. she's my inspiration, my love and life. I'll write more about her.. after.. but yeah

My Beliefs

I believe that everything happens for a reason. I'm agnostic, but not atheist. I believe there is good in everyone, but I am still fairly misanthropistic... I can't stand a lot of humanity.. or specifically most of human nature. There are good people in this world, but there are so many terrible people as well. I am a left winged person and I believe in pro choice and religious freedom. I won't judge you because of your religion and I will only have a problem with you if you insult me because of my beliefs or... because I'm a lesbian. (grow up people)
