Ultimately I've done a little bit of growing up and have learned a little bit about myself since I've returned home from training so it's time to update my profile. I have learned that anything worth having in life has to be earned, and that nothing comes to you for free. I've learned that life's true meaning must be found within yourself, not in finding another. Love is neither what makes the world go round nor what makes the trip worth while, but it's still something we all desire to obtain in spite of the high cost one usually has to pay for it. True strength is the ability to admit to one's weaknesses. Humans are social creatures, we were never meant to live entirely alone. I have learned that I am ultimately a hopeless romantic who ultimately chooses love before anything else, no matter how much it hurts me. I am a soldier, a lover, but also an artist at heart. I'm trying to get back in touch with my creative side, calming my life down a little and finding a new reason to get up every morning for. Ultimately I love everything that comes with military life. I enjoy the family-like connection I feel with my brothers and sisters in the Army. I enjoy the rush that comes with meeting a new person or finding love again. I enjoy physical activity. Adrenaline is my drug, without doubt. I love music, time spent with friends, and moments where the world seems to slow down and you begin to relive your memories.
Dislikes
I hate how some people assume that you always have tomorrow. People need to realize we can die any day at any given moment. Live your life to the fullest, as if every day were your last, and only then will you live without regrets. I hate religious extremists and extreme athiests. I cannot tolerate those who condemn their soldiers. Nobody loves like a soldier who is willing to risk it all for his/her country.
Favorite Music
Really anything that speaks out from the soul or make me want to kill something is music that I love. Songs in particular would be Handlebars, Vulnerable, and many more. Depending on my mood I'll listen to bands like NeverShoutNever, The Academy Is, or Secondhand Serenade... Or sometimes I'm in the mood for some good old Slipknot or MSI or 9 Inch Nails. Music is music, all of it can be enjoyed.
