My name is Priscilla Hernández. I am a composer and singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and fantasy illustrator from the Canary Islands now based in Barcelona (Spain). My music can be described as "ethereal gothic" inspired in fairy and ghost tales and with a great component of fantasy. Angelic voices, cinematic soundscapes, bitter and meaningful lullabies. Discover the spectral spellbinding dark side of fairytales. Melodies that weave a fantastic and unknown kingdom. The light, the shade, the fairy, the ghost, the Underliving... Sounds Like
Ethereal, film music, haunting evocative sounds, ancient instruments blended with electronica and film music elements. Music to create a fantasy dark world, veiled, eerie, unseen, but beautiful...in the realms of twilight. I prefer to think that I sound like myself... people often compares me with Kate Bush, Tori Amos, Loreena McKennit and even Enya. I have to say that I find it a wonderful compliment though my influences are listed above. I think that every artist that composes from the soul hate comparisons though. I'm sure that happen to them certainly too! and they indeed have my entire support and respect! My musical dream though as I said... a duet with Roland Orzabal :) (thanks for teaching me to sing with your cds. I will be happy if you judge by yourselves and drop your feedback.
Influences
Tears for Fears, Sting, Joe Hisaishi, Cocteau Twins All my art is dedicated with love and devotion to KIRA (1995-2003) and Totonika Nova (2010-2011)
