My Alibi

Profile:  My Alibi began as Jennifer Andreas solo act. The 4 piece band came to be almost by complete accident. In the summer of 2005 My Alibi took off quick. In just 3 months, My Alibi was scheduled at the rave to play before Otep. Gaining a positive response My Alibi returned to open up metal fest, Gigantour, (Headliners Megadeath and Dream Theater). Afterwards, the band played before Obituary and Blacklabel Society. Afterwards the Shepherd Express reviewed them as very similar to Evanescence and the Onion reviewed them as a newer, harder verison of siouxsie and the banchees. Either way, My Alibi got a great start and good opportunity to play Locobazooka, a popular metalfest of the east coast held in MA, (Headliners Alice in Chains and Wicked Wisdom). My Alibi has grown from its orriginal, slower singer songwritter roots and added a faster paced tool influenced edge. With My Alibi's first look outside of the midwest, My Alibi continues to make an impact on the local scene, playing local bars, clubs and fests. My Alibi is characterized as a heavy, dark, piano and bass driven, melodic female fronted rock band.
