Profile: Divider started in the mid-nineties as an experimental EBM project influenced by Nitzer Ebb, Digital Poodle, New Order and Front Line Assembly; of course, this is only the list of initial influences. Never afraid to cross borders, Divider has always intended to be progressive in the realm of electronic body music. Thus Divider's sound is constantly evolving. The sole member has been Bryon Wilson untill recently. In 2005 Aaron Hall joined to add audio mastering techniques, vocals, and song writing. In addition, Peter Beal (Petrol) has been enlisted as well as an auxillary member, Sean Davies (A Handbook For Murders). Over the years, the Divider sound has has evolved into a futuristic electronic industrial sound while remaining true to the roots of EBM. Divider will always be in debt to the true innovators and of electronic music. In 2005, Divider contributed a number of different remixes to some high profile artists such as Regenerator, Y-Luko, XP8, and Diverje.  We're also proud to be a part of Songs in the Key of Death. Click on the image below:  Sounds Like: Electronic Body Music that at times mixes synth-pop, hard breakbeats, minimalism, and even GOA trance. In terms of style, Divider is similar to, and can be easily grouped with, XP8, Icon OF Coil, Neuroticfish, and Razed in Black. At other times Divider is best grouped with the likes of Front Line Assembly, Mentallo and the Fixer, and Skinny Puppy. However, the sound is still progressing. What do we know!?
