C/A/T is the main project of Crunch Pod label founder, Ben Arp. The project itself began as an audio experiment in 1999 and since then has grown and evolved into the current harsh EBM/noise sound you hear today. A notable shift in the sound of C/A/T came in 2007 with the album "Point Of No Return" when Arp added vocals to the project for the first time since it's inception. Arp followed in 2008 with the album "The Great Crisis" which, while instrumental, served as a background for future C/A/T recordings. 2008 is set to bring forth a remix / re-worked version of Point Of No Return with the next original C/A/T album, "We Are Still Alive" to follow in Spring of 2009. While Ben writes 100% of the C/A/T music - he has recently added Erica Dunham (Unter Null, Stray) as his live support member. Ben also has a side project called "51X" (pronounced 'six') that is set to launch it's debut album in late 2008. 51X retains the more classic C/A/T style with a more updated and modern, instrumental electronic sound. C/A/T has toured extensively across the United States and has plans to hit even more areas and locales in 2008/2009. Keep watching the calendar for upcoming show information.
