C/A/T enters it's 10th year in 2009! C/A/T was started in early 1999 by Crunch Pod label head, Ben Arp, as an experimental industrial project. Over the last 10 years has released four albums and three EPs and has made a number of compilation and guest remixer appearances. C/A/T has also been very active as a live act - including a US Tour in 2008 supporting Unter Null and having shared a stage with a diverse range of acts ranging from Haujobb, Terrorfakt, Manufactura, Architect, Hocico, Babyland, Noisex and Caustic to name just a few. 2009 finds C/A/T starting fresh with a brand new album set for release in August called "Chaos And Terror". Arp describes the album as "darker than previous C/A/T releases. The last 18 months of my life have been incredibly rough and depressing and this album captures those emotions I've felt quite well". Keeping up with an active live booking schedule - C/A/T has opted to tour in August 2009 with new signings to Crunch Pod, [syndika:zero]. Arp says, "After last year's awesome tour with Unter Null, I wanted to something in 2009 that would match the intensity level I have been building in the studio recordings. After some early options unfortunately fell through for us, I felt it was fated that we head out with [syndika:zero] as I feel we're both on the same page with the concept and design of our upcoming albums. We plan to bring it as neither project has brought it before on this tour!"
