Hello, my name is Nicole and welcome to my profile. I hope you enjoy my new layout. I decided to got for an Angel Sanctuary manga theme. I figured that fits with my mood currently.
I figured this would be a great opportunity to start talking about my beliefs and how I feel about the world. I am a Pagan by heart but my beliefs scattered from one end of the world to the other. I always say that it is best to not follow a religion but to follow your own spiritual path. I do believe in many gods but I also believe in one God and one Goddess. I also believe in reincarnation. I feel one is reincarnated if their life has not been full filled. I do believe all life has a soul including plants, insects, mammals, fish, and all other species. I don't discriminate against any of them. I feel one is reincarnated if they choose to be or if their life has ended to short. I also believe you can be punished through reincarnation. If you been a horrible person, most likely your second life will not be so good. I do believe in karma but not as strong as some. It really depends on how much you have changed in your life.
As for a normal after life, well it depends. I do believe our souls are unified together. I believe are souls are pure energy and that when we die, we become one with the universe. I do believe we go to our own personal heaven and can visit other heavens. I don't think it is as dull as just being joined together. It is far more then that. It is our personal world in which we are the creators. Like an open canvas to our true identity. I also feel those who do not deserve such pleasures will be punished but have ways of changing. I am not one to judge who should be punished because I am only human. I have no right to judge who goes to hell or heaven or even being reincarnated.
I may sound religious but I am not. Much of my faith is gathered from other faiths. I don't claim my faith is correct. I feel it is all up to interpretation and what you feel is right. I am sure my faith will be challenged but I expect a challenge worthy.
Politically I support more of an independent vote. I am one of those voters who believe it is not about republican or democrat but about the correct choose. I do support Barak Obamma because he is someone fresh. I feel he does need more learning experience but something about him I do like. Even McCain does not seem like a horrible candidate either. He does have some informative ways on Global Warming and other issues concerning taxes and health care. It is still up in the air for me. I am willing to listen more on the subjects again and make an informative decision in the voting booth.
I am also a big supporter of Animal Rights. I don't believe that everyone should go Vegan in the next ten years. I do believe, however in Organic foods and how we treat farm animals. I do think it is healthier for Americans and anyone of any culture to start looking into eating healthier. Eating less meat but still obtaining the protein needed. Going more Organic with fruits, veggies, dairy products and meat products. There is so much we can do to better ourselves and the other species we share the world with. I believe Animal Rights is for ALL species. Humans are in fact animals and we may not view ourselves like a wolf or even a deer but we are mammals by scientific definition. I feel in order to better understand ourselves, we should understand nature and the other animals that live with us. I don't believe in mindless killing or killing for sport. I do think hunting is ok. I think hunting should be used for food and not for play. The animal needs to be respected. We are predators not animals that hunt for pleasure. That is not what we should be doing. I do believe in protecting endangered animals who are endangered because of our miss usage of the environment. There is a lot I can go on about this subject.
