My name is Sandra, and I'm 24. I live in Brisbane with my parents. Of Latin-American origin, my family emigrated from El Salvador and settled in Brisbane in 1991. I have an older brother who's 4 years older than me, a sister-in-law, a niece and a nephew. Though raised a strict Catholic, I enjoy most aspects of the alternative lifestyle. I'm more spiritual than religious. I have various statues of angels in my room, next to which I place scented candles. I am so in love with my wonderful boyfriend Tim. He's my everything and I'm so lucky to have him in my life.

Michael Jackson, Reading and writing (fiction/historical fiction/poetry), researching the Holocaust, anime (my faves are 'Elfen Lied' and 'Haibane-Renmei'), soccer, rainy days, hanging with friends, meeting new people, parties, dancing, sleeping in (especially when it's raining), acoustic guitar (self-taught), music (alternative), Band of Brothers, LORD OF THE RINGS and HARRY POTTER, and Kath & Kim. I also love cemeteries on rainy or overcast days - they look so beautiful and alluring. Call me a freak if you must! I'm a HUGE admirer of the work by artist Victoria Frances.** If I ever have pets, I'd either have a cat, some chickens or some mice.

Getting up early, patronizers, horror movies, Jude Law, time wasters, Zac Efron, some vegetables, Robbie Williams, girlie-girls (tho some are ok), Lindsay Lohan, Miley Cyrus, being judged before people get to know me, Paris-freaking-Hilton and her lazy eye!, Lilly Allen, sunshine, Vanessa Hudgens, spiders, my parent's anal rules when they're trying to change me, 'Twilight' (vampires don't sparkle in the sun, they DIE dammit!!) anything to do with High School Musical, Pussycat Dolls, animal cruelty (especially to chickens and cats), spoilt kids, parents who insist on RAISING spoilt kids, Renee Zellweger - thats all i can think of.

I am absolutely obsessed with MICHAEL JACKSON, the King of Pop, and i'm NOT ASHAMED OF IT!! My favourite bands are Within Temptation, Korn, Three Days Grace, AFI, My Chemical Romance, Flyleaf, HIM, Godsmack, Epica and The Used. ***** But I also like The Fray, All American Rejects, James Blunt, The Eagles, Deadstar Assembly, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Paramore, Sum 41, Bread, The Lost Prophets, Saosin, PANIC! At The Disco, Rammstein, Kill Hannah, Everclear, Muse, Presidents of the United States of America, Blink 182, From Within, Fallout Boy, Good Charlotte, Nickelback, Frenzal Rhomb, End of Fashion, Grinspoon, The Veronicas, Green Day, Silverchair, The Living End, The Offspring, Matchbook Romance, Taking Back Sunday, Magic Dirt, Yellowcard, The Cranberries and Nirvana - I can't think of all of them right now. I'm also hoping to get into CKY, The Darkness - and possibly Atreyu and Children of Bodom. Not exactly what you'd expect from a wholesome Catholic girl, huh? :P
