I am not on VF or any other online site for a popularity race and I do not and never will consider myself elitist. How on Earth can you be popular and elitist on a website anyway? It's stupid and I think people who think they are elite and popular on here really need to grow up and smell the coffee.

Yes I do rate and I do comment people whether on my own accord or in return but that does not make me a rate or comment whore: it makes me someone who is using the site like it was designed to be: meet new people and make new friends. All my comments are based on the profile which I do read. I hate it when people don't read a profile because profiles are there to be read!!

I do not give out my email address unless you are someone I have been talking to on a regular basis for a month or two.

Me - For Real
I was born Emily Jane C-D (like I'd give you my last name) on November 7th 1989 around 4 in the afternoon. I have blonde hair naturally but it's dyed pink, blue eyes and I'm a UK size 14. I know I'm not stick thin and, although I want to lose weight, I'm not unhappy as I am. I am of Russian, Ukranian, French, Scottish, Welsh, Irish and English descent, most of which comes from my father. I live in Birmingham and I'm studying Ancient History at The University of Birmingham.

I do have a boyfriend and we got together on 2nd May 2007. I am very happy with him thank you so I would appreciate it if you did not hit on me in anyway. I will not give out my email address to have cyber sex and, no, I will not leave my boyfriend for you.

I have changed a lot over the past year or so and it's definitly for the better. I've suffered from depression since I was 13 and I'm finally defeating it. I did everything: antidepressants, counselling, anger management and time-management but nothing worked for me. Then I looked at my situation. I had nothing to strive for. I was in an unhealthy relationship and it wasn't what I wanted. I was with my boyfriend because I needed him, not because he loved me. We split up in March 2007 and for the first time in years: I was properly single and I loved it. I decided I didn't need to depend on someone and that things would only get better if I did something, not anybody or anything else. It took me 4 years, but I hope that those who are depressed who do read this realise that only they can help themselves.

I am at The University of Birmingham to study Ancient History BA. For my GCSE's, I got 2 A*, 4 A's, 4 B's and a C. At AS Level, I took Biology, Chemistry, History and Philosophy & Ethics and got and A in General Studies, B in Philosophy and Ethics, C in History, D in Chemistry and D in Biology. For A Level I got D in Chemistry, B in History, B in Philosophy & Ethics and A in General Studies.

I do like my music, but I wouldn't say it is my life as I don't devote myself to it or listen to it constantly. I have 1 band t-shirt (lmao) and that's "3 Inches of Blood". I love that band and I was so happy when I finally got to see them live in March 2007. My music taste is weird and I like everything. Yes, I may like Aesthetic Perfection, W13, 3IOB etc, but I also like Aqua, James Blunt, Christina A etc. It doesn't make me "any less goth": that's just stupid. I listen to what I want, when I want and that is the way it will stay.
