Rurin are a 5 piece, female fronted hard rock/metal band from the South of England who started life in September 2009 by Pearce and Emmy Hamblin. They started writing for the band over the early months of 2010 and later that year, the band played some of their first gigs, including a slot at the Underworld in Camden as part of the Top of the Ox UK Unsigned Bands Final.

In the summer of 2011, the band parted ways with some of the original members who wanted to pursue different paths and united with Raj Puni, Rob Kitley and Michael Podjacki to complete the current lineup.

Drawing a wide range of influences, Rurin manage to branch out into various different styles of Rock and Metal music to create different experiences in each song they write, which helps to keep things interesting for the listener.

The band are ready to hit the stage once more, so keep your eyes and ear peeled as we'll be coming your way soon!
