My name is Eric and I have lived in Nebraska majority of my life. I was born in Mary Esther, Florida on base. Due to my parent's separate ways I moved up to Nebraska with my mom. I went to school in a small town called Bennington. It was a very interesting experience. I mostly grew up on the music of David Bowie, Blondie, Pat Benatar, Meatloaf, Prince thanks to my mom. Went through a pop, rock, and metal faze then got into really good music like AFI, Placebo, The Cure, Depeche Mode, Skinny Puppy, Christian Death, Specimen, etc. My musical taste is all over the place... But there is certain music that I am not into like country, gangsta rap, reggae influenced. I have moved out once and wish I could afford to live on my own. That move really changed me in good ways. For one I am vegan now, I was vegetarian before. My reasons are probably the same as any other vegan like animal rights, environment, my own health. I know things won't change just because I am vegan. but I would like to help take part in not helping destroy the world and the beautiful cute creatures that live on it. Even though I feel really bad whenever I go out to eat with my friends like they have to make their dinning choices around me... It just makes me feel bad.. But I love to be around them. It is hard for me to open up to people or socialize. i am still working on it. It has been like that majority of my life. I do cherish the friends that I have. Even though I don't show it well enough. I did DJ for awhile with the help of my friends Cortney, and Braydon. We had our own little thing going. We booked bands as well. It was really fun to do that. To see people come to one place and have a good time. It is really all I wanted the events to be. I am truly grateful having to be a part of that. As you probably can tell I do enjoy going to concerts/events like seeing the bands I love and enjoy or a DJ that spins the right tunes for me. Yes I have been to college, but I seem to never really get into it. I know you need a college degree to have a better career and whatnot, but I just cannot get into it or have the motivation to stay. I am also into movies and video games. My movie taste is all over the place just like my musical taste. I am mostly into horror, sci-fi, animated, and some comedies like Donnie Darko, Hellraiser, Evil Dead II, Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, Nightmare Before Christmas, Zombieland, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, Hard Candy, Machinist, Star Wars(4,5,&6 only), Seven, Mulholland Drive, Memento, Alien series, Mirror Mask, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Nosferatu, Interview with the Vampire, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, etc. For video games I am mostly into survival horror, or RPGs. I do play some FPS and adventure games. I have been a SONY boy for awhile so I have had PS One, PS2, PSP, and now a PS3. I am also into Nintendo. My first gaming console was the original Nintendo when I was a kid and I love the damn thing. First game of course was Mario Bros. Also that game was the first time I cussed in front of my parent. I am into the Final Fantasy franchise, Kingdom Hearts, Star Ocean, Dragon Quest, dot.hack, Legend of Zelda, Mario, Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Castlevania, and so on. I was really big into comics and superheros when I was little, but I am still. I huge into Marvel but as I grow older DC seems to have some interesting characters as well. Favorite MARVEL character(s)? It has always been Wolverine, eventually I got into Spider-Man and the other characters in the Marvel Universe. Favorite DC character(s)? Is of course Batman and the Teen Titan Raven. I could never get into Superman nor Aquaman but the other characters kind of grew on me like Green Lantern. Of course I love all of what Jhonen Vasquez squeezes out of his creative huge mind. I am also into Dark Horse comics. I mean there are variety of stuff I am into in the comic book world as well. As for anime well I got really big into that in High School then died off then now catching up on what I missed out on. Some of my favorite anime are Cowboy Bebop, Ghost In the Shell, Aeon Flux, Hellsing, Ergo Proxy, Full Metal Alchemist, Final Fantasy Advent Children, etc. Anime it can be cute, horror, or dramatic. I have liked almost all the anime I have seen so far. I never got into manga but I really need to as I am sure you anime/manga don't understand why I am not. I recently read the Scott Pilgrim graphic novels I don't think they are considered manga. But if they are I read some manga! I do have a collection of Japanese manga that I cannot read unfortunately.. Thanks for reading!
