Hey welcome to my corner of the crypt.
My names Brian, or B as I prefer to be called.
Though some people insist on calling me Bee, that's cool too.
Suppose I should start of by explaining where I got my user name from.
Well once upon a time, long long ago. My friends and I used to pass the time in this deadbeat town by watching the lowest budget stupidest looking films we could get our hands on while either baked of wasted....or sometimes both.
Anyway one day we got our hands on an epic piece of budget trash called "Scanner Cop". So after sitting through the hour or so of this film I just blurted out "This film ain't even a B movie, it's a B minus movie" and that's stuck with me ever since.
Next I can tell you some stuff about me.
I'm 24, and in those 24 years of my life I've made fuck ups. Lost friends, made new enemies. Went to college, done 3yrs of commuting from 5.30am in the morning to get to college, till getting home at 10pm at night to do projects, when I realized I'm doing a course I hate and I'm putting myself through hell for it. WELL FUCK THAT!!
So I left. Much to the unhappy surprise of my lecturers. As I was actually very good at what I was doing.
So I went out with what I owned at that time, got myself a job and started slogging it out while working on doing something that made me happy. Which is music.
I have managed to get myself Rockschool accredited for this and am furthering myself through study with them.
At the moment I've hit my Performance Level 3 Certifiacate, which I got a Merit in. 86% overall, 4% off a distinction dangit!!
Heading for my Performance Cert LvL 5 now. Looking forward to it.
I have been in and out of many bands, through the years, as a root, sometimes as a session musician. No matter what I was doing I have always committed myself wholeheartedly to the task at hand and performed consistently.
