I also have a forum, Shambala rules are available for everyone to read before registering so ya'll know what yer are getting in for. :) For the inevitable people who will drop by to tell me I'm nuts or stupid for whatever opinion I expressed that you didn't like, well, guess what...You're entitled to your opinion, I just don't care what you think about me because I doubt it's going to matter much in 200 years anyway. :) (If you don't understand why, reference the Buddhist concept "impermanence") To all you people with thin skins that think I'm being "rude" or "insulting" - Guess what. Life's too short for that BS. You want to know whether I intended to be "rude", "disrespectful" or "insulting"? ASK ME, DAMMIT!! Or even better...Google me, and you can see the sorts of postings I usually make. I am open to conversation, and I am open to recognizing that something might have been taken the wrong way from where it was intended. But, if you don't try and communicate with me, and instead make bad assumptions, it only shows you're pissed because I don't play the kiss ass politics game, or that you have too thin a skin to really last long in the real world. I don't do politics, and I don't do the fawning groupie shit. See that age up there in the upper left of my profile? Means I'm too old to CARE about playing politics. Don't like it? Tough. I got better things to do with my time than to play "suck up" to some insecure bastige. :P CULT INVITES: IF YOU WISH TO INVITE ME AND ACTUALLY HAVE ME JOIN, READ THIS! My interests are in the realm of real vampires (of course), medicine and energy work. I will be MOST open to these types of invites. (I will also be EXTREMELY choosy about any medical cults, as I keep up with websites such as Medline, eMedicine, and the like - these are not consumer grade material here.) Do NOT invite me to cults that are: Likes: Intelligent conversation, people who are willing to at least listen and consider other viewpoints, instead of the ol' "my way is the only way" attitude I see so commonly. Note that this does NOT mean I expect you to agree with me, or that you should expect me to agree with you - merely that I like to open dialogue and talk about things to understand other views, and greatly prefer it if other people do the same. Communication IS a two-way street - otherwise, it's just....you know...ranting or something equally pointless.I like to read Sci-fi, fantasy, and specific sub-sets of the horror genre. Movies run along the same lines, but with the addition of comedy or amusing "cheezefest" things...you know, "so bad, it's good in it's own demented way" sort of thing. I don't like "realistic" or "scary/slasher" movies, they're too much like Offline news stories, and I see enough of those already. My sci-fi runs from Andre Norton level of "soft" sci-fi to Heinlein/Asimov level of "hard" sci-fi, and yes I've heard of Perry Rodan and actually own some PR books. TV shows I've watched include Doctor Who, Farscape, Star Trek (each series), Stargate, and many many many others I can't think of at the moment. And here's something to pass the time with while you're here...
Dislikes: I am an old fart and not afraid to admit it. :P I find "gtg", "kthnxbye", "oic", "y", "r", "u", "ne1" and other mobile/sms-speak annoying and hard to decipher.
