So, now you're on my profile. Expecting what?
Reading this, trying to get to know me?
Let me tell you this; it doesn't work that way.
Even if I would write a thousand pages about myself,
It takes more than that to get to know someone.
But I'll try my best.

My name is Irene. I'm a 17 year old girl, living in Utrecht, the center of the Netherlands.
My purpose in life? Living.
Each day is a different day.
Before tomorrow comes, you can change everything.
I'm trying to live only for today.
Just waiting for what the day brings this time.
And accepting it.

I truly believe, that without the bad, there's no good.
You can't be happy, if you don't know what the opposite feels like.

I love almost everything. Just because everything has a beautiful side.
Before you judge; I'm not a hippie.
I'm a social person, always want to take care of others.
I can see beauty in every individual.
But I hate the humanity, the whole group.
I also hate the system we're currently living in.
I love the idea of anarchy and communism.
Just the idea, cause in reality it would be one fucked up mess.
I hate the fact that some people are "more" than others.
And all the rules, and bans from nowadays.
I admit; we need rules and bans to live peacefully with eachother. But this has gone to far.
We're living in some kind of matrix.
You're born in it, and you can't get out.
Decisions are made, without the possibility of having some influence.
Some people break out. Not for real, but in their minds.
They realize what's going on, and what's wrong with it, for them.
That realization, is the biggest gift I've ever gotten.

Right, we were trying to get to know me.
Or at least, the only image you'll get of me is what I think is me.
And I could be wrong.

I already told you my name, age and where I live.
So let's continue from there, shall we?
I'm still living at home right now, with my little sister and my mother. My big sister has already moved out of the house.
I smoke. Yeah. I'm an cigarette-addict.
I drink alcohol.
And I do drugs.
I try to care as less as possible about the consequences.
I just want to live.
And enjoy.
I'm a bit of a boy-ish girl.
I love to sit in my garden, with the sun on my face,
While drinking a beer, smoking a cigarette and listening to my music.

I'd love to travel around the world some day.
Backpacking.
See more nature.
Yeah that's another thing; I love nature.
It's one of the most beautiful things ever in this world.
I also love silence.
I'm not the kind of person who always wants to talk,
Always wants to be around other people,
Silence is peaceful, and nice.
It never bothers me when there's a silence.

I have no idea what else I should say about me.
In my opinion, I've said fairly enough.
If you actually read this, and think I'm a nice person to talk to, go ahead.
I always love to meet new people.

Talking is overrated. It's about what you can say without the words.
