SML8 is a blend of music, a variety of genres, and a mass assault of chaotic musical assimilation. They bring an assortment of musical styles to the table, incorporating heavy metal guitar riffs, distorted electronic beats, hypnotizing synthesizer mutations, screaming thrash vocals, operatic angelic female vocals, an assault of acoustic drums and ripping basslines with diverse modulation. Their live performance includes an array of FX and live modulation/manipulation and a stage presence that stands out in a scene hiding behind laptop computers and controllers. This is an IN-YOUR-FACE experience that when you see, you will not forget. The lyrics are directed towards mind transformations and different states of consciousness and engage the listener into thinking about different spectrums of reality, including their current state. Quickly stepping up in the scene in Florida, they are here to stay. SML8 was formed 2009 by Scott Van Horn and Adrienne Noyes, and have picked up an army of crazy musicians backing them and adding to the chaos live. Dave "Murdoc" Arellano is on drums and Jace Wertz is on guitar. 2011 has already proven to be a great year for them, with releasing the debut music video for "Hypnotik" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iIPnQ8GOu6Y) and their debut CD Surreality (http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/surreality/id431976765 ) they are not planning on stopping anytime soon.
