Profile: Layout designed by: x-dandelion-x  The Plastics are my second family. We are amazing, stylish, fun, friendly, and outgoing. We are dear to each other, and we ARE the elite of Vampire Freaks. So stop by our application cult and apply! We don't bite! Do you have what it takes to be Plastic? Find out for yourself!  To clear up one thing - I am not now and never have been a "weeaboo". Yes my other name is "sheli-chan/shelichan/sheli" I used that name when I was in about 8th grade when I started cosplaying. Sheli (pronounced shay-lee) is my hebrew name (I am Jewish), and -chan is the Japanese suffix for a young girl. Since that time, I have become known as such and I own the domain, and more or less everything that I have is under that name. Therefor, to change it would be difficult and not really worth it to me. Yes I still go to anime conventions (2 a year), though I have NOT cosplayed in over a year, and I generally only make rave outfits to wear. At the conventions I dont even purchase passes usually, as I do not attend any of the convention events other than the rave - which I borrow a badge for. I go to see the friends that I have met through the hobby and still continue to love to this day. Just because the name Ive grown to be known as has a "chan" on the end of it - does not mean I am a weeaboo, nor does it mean I want to be an anime character. I havent even watched anime in years other than Paradise Kiss (because Im a fashion major). So stop with this anime chick and paddling the weeaboo nonsense, because I am not, never have been, and never will be - a weeaboo. Go find some narutards to harass or go back to 4chan you /b/tard. And to those who think Im a fatty, thats cool, go back to /cgl/. I am who I am, and I am very happy with myself. I refuse to let the fact that you arent upset me. For every one person who thinks Im an ugly fatty, theres at least two that think that I am pretty and fine the way I am, and they at least usually make the effort to get to know who I am before jumping on the "omg she has pink eyebrowz and shes annoying lolz" bandwagon. To those who made it through that, thank you. I am a really nice person who is generally caring, understanding, and very giving. Though if you take advantage of my kind nature, you will be quick to find yourself on my bad side. Try not to end up there, for both of our sakes. I play roller derby for the Sisters of Mayhem from Hackettstown NJ, and I am a pivot/blocker. My favorite color is pink, though I really like all colors and white. I love techno and happy hardcore music, and I go to raves as often as I can spare the time and money for. I dress up crazy, I wear kandi to my elbows, and I have a good time in true PLUR spirit. I love makeup and I only wear MAC. I shave and draw my eyebrows. I have 2 Yorkshire Terriers (8lb Ruby and 2.5lb Avery), a Red Eared Slider (Turles), and a 4' long Candycane Cornsnake (Mushu or Muumuu). I am a manager of a local pet supply store (no animals), and we are all like a family there. I also work at Ann Taylor as a sales associate, and I enjoy it even though it is completely not my style. I currently go to community college and after this summer semester I will have an AAA in Studio Arts. Next fall I have been accepted to the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan for Fashion Design, and I will go on to receive my bachelors degree from there. Im a good person. Usually hyper and happy, but I have my ups and downs as everybody else does. Though I do try to be optimistic and rambunctious. Even if it can come off as annoying, it generally puts a smile on everybodys face. I like to make people happy.
