I believe in individuality and being yourself despite what anyone else thinks. Although, nowadays society is too scared and close-minded to be different. People judge you by your looks before they even get to know you. We live in a society of stereotypes and if you wear black you ‘magically’ become emo or goth and everyone looks down on you like you’re the world’s trash. Everyone just assumes you’re an awful person and that being different is wrong...that you can't be yourself or embrace your own uniqueness. It is very rare to walk down the street and see an individual who won't stare at you with spite. Practically almost everyone is prejudice and if you don’t look ‘normal’ people don’t even give a second thought of trying to get to know you. Basically everyone will either look at you with resent and malice or with sheer horror. Society is just too scared to adopt individuality, non conformity and to be different. They’re all just brainwashed by the media and the latest trends. People will always find a way to make you live your life in sorrow and they'll always forget all the things you've done right yet they remember all your mistakes. I dream of a world with no prejudice, where everyone is themselves and where people can accept each other’s differences. I dream of a world where the ‘different’ people aren’t shunned from the rest of society and aren’t treated like monsters. But unfortunately my life is a nightmare of which I cannot awaken from...
