Pulse State

Profile: Pulse State started in the late 90's as an emotional outlet for the Detroit based musician Mike Phipps, who also uses Pulse State as a pseudonym. Moving through different electronic styles during its lifetime, Pulse State has been operating in the EBM/elektro-pop sphere for some years now. The project released a net-only demo EP (Shimmering and Falling v0.6, in 2003) and a limited DJ edition EP (The Innocent Goddess, in early 2005).After going on hiatus for a couple of years with only a live show with Cesium_137 and Softcore in the interim, Pulse State has returned once again. The long-awaited debut album, With a Single Step, was made available for download in September 2008, and work has already commenced on new output!
