Profile: Way back in the gloomy 80s my ears were carressed by the wonderful sound of the music of that decade. Duran Duran, Soft Cell, The Human League, Japan, A Flock of Seagulls, China Crisis, Ultravox, Killing Joke, New Order, Clan of Xymox, The Sisters of Mercy, Gene loves Jezebel, Gary Numan, The Cure... and dozens of other bands and artists sneaked into my bedroom via the radio stations of that day. They never left my dreamy mind. "New wave" it was called back then, with the cold war still raging in a menacing yet contrived way. As the years went by I witnessed the downfall in the mid-90s and the resurrection at the turn of the century. In stead of just being a spectator who visits events I decided to make 'the scene' a bit more undead by (co-)organizing parties like "Unknown Pleasure" and "Nachtschade", writing CD-reviews, DJ-ing and doing interviews with artists. With the 'twenty-tens' on their way I'm not that active anymore, but still doing my best to salute goth-rock, new wave, post-punk, new romantic, dark wave and related genres as the most moving music ever made. If you like beforementioned genres, the best party to visit over here in The Netherlands is Onderstroom . I love the music they play there!  .Likes: Going out to parties and concerts. I love to dance.
