I picked up this CD since I've heard some hype about this being a really good
industrial CD. Well, considering all the good things I've heard about this CD,
I expected it to be really good, and was a bit disappointed in it.
After listening to the CD a few times, I realized that musically, this CD really
is great, as its got some great industrial tunes and is very intelligently put
together and the sound is quite original. I've come to the realization that the reason
I dont like this CD that much is that I just don't like the vocals. The vocals are
aggro-sounding, sometimes with a hip hop flavor, a bit choppy, and slurred at times.
I just don't think the vocals sound very smooth, and honestly, I dont like the guy's
voice. It's a deep, aggressive voice that I just can't seem to enjoy. But, I can see
how some people can really like this CD, and as I said, musically I think this CD is
great, and I can appreciate it for its good points. The overall sound is upbeat
industrial-rock, with some kick ass synth riffs in it.
