this is one of those cd's that i simply haven't taken out of the
cd player after i bought it, because it is just that good.
definitely mesh's best album to date, all of the tracks on here
are very solid. the single "leave you nothing" is amazing.
the overall style of the album is the same as their previous
releases - slow ebm / synthpop , with crisp vocals and
melodic synth sounds. a few of the songs are more alternative rock sounding,
with pianos and even the occasional guitar, such as in the song "four walls".
most of the songs are generally slow,
but there's a couple more upbeat tracks you could dance to.
ive been a fan of mesh for a while, but on their albums there's
always a few really good tracks, and a few tracks which are
not so great. however, i do enjoy listening to this album
from start to finish, as all the songs are very well done.

initial listening::
those who obsess over stabbing westward, spending hours locked away in their
rooms.. soaking in their own private hell, with S.W. on repeat. inflicting
lyrics into thier afflicted flesh.. scribbling the words in high school
notebooks..
they will find comfort in mesh.
this isnt necessarily a negative thing.
further listening::
...it even gives me a comfort of sorts, a feeling that karma is seeking her bl
ood
for blood retaliation with all who have wronged me.. a need to hide away and
confront my past in all its painfulness. by myself.
.comfort.. retaliation.. and a sick, dark smile for those who
hurt u.
eye guess sometimes pain is a good thing afterall.
