This is a side project done by Marc Heal of cubanate and J.L.DeMeyer
of Front 242. This album was released in 1997, but I feel that I
need to review it because i don't think that it quite has the
recognition that it deserves. Cubanate and Front 242 are both
farely known bands in the industrial/ebm community, and this album
is better than any Cubanate or Front 242 album. Every song on this
album is very good. It's not like lots of albums, where there's like
3 or 4 really good songs, and the rest of them are just o.k.
the song "epitaph" off this album has some of the most amazing bass
i have ever heard in an industrial album. "Shift" is an emotionally
moving piece, with amazing lyrics which evoke all kinds of inner
thoughts. I used to listen to this song all the time when I was
feeling depressed, and it really helped me just get out my thoughts
and feel good about myself. "Random", the first song off the album,
is a very nice opening song, which catches your attention, and gets
you pumped. "Foetal is a great fast paced industrial track.
"Being nothing" has an awesome pounding beat.
