Another great experimental electronic release from cEvin Key. this former member of
the legendary skinny puppy and download, brings us another serving of chaotic
electronic insanity. perhaps this album would be best appreciated if you were
on drugs, given all the crazy experimental sounds. this release
almost sounds improvisational,
yet it's very structured and complex. its's been said that there's a fine line
between genius and insanity, and cEvin Key seems to blur this distinction
with his unconventional releases. a particular gem on this album is the
track "frozen sky", featuring ogre, the singer of skinny puppy. the reunion of
these two icons of the industrial scene spawns this amazing track.
the song "klora", sounds like a sick, twisted acid trip, with weird samples
and a jazzy influence. overall, this is a great album to listen to in the dark
while you're totally wasted, and just focus on the experimental rhythms and complexity of
this album.
