based in the netherlands, Angels & Agony is a future-pop act that is
relatively new, and gaining recognition.
i think that angel & agony's claim to fame is that this CD is produced by Ronan Harris
of VNV Nation. this is a pretty good CD, with obvious VNV Nation influences, which is
cool for anybody who is into VNV. it actually kind of sounds like a VNV Nation
side-project, with deeper vocals. overall, all the tracks on this album are pretty
decent. "darkness" is the single off this album, and it is an amazing track, definitely
the best track on the album by far. it's got a really catchy, moving beat, with some
great samples in it. another track on the album which i really like is
"don't be afraid", which is a more melancholy, climactic track.
so, if you like vnv nation, you may want to check this out. definitely doesnt quite
compare to a vnv album, but there's a couple really good tracks and its overall a
good album.
