So here are the older make-up winners and their explanations on how they did it. Pics are in order from oldest to newest The cult has under gone a revamp and these winners are only from 2008 January SchizophrenicJesus's Entry.
I started out with pink eyeshadow, added the purple eyeshadow near the inner part. Then put on eyeliner around the eye. Put black eyeshadow parallel to the eyeliner on. Did my eyebrows. Put silver dots on both the eyebrows and eyeliner. Put on white eyeshadow below the brow and the inner most part on the eye. Added lashes, which you sadly can't even see. Did my face with foundation and whatnot, and that's it. Febuary DesolatedFreaK's Entry.
First I did my foundation and eyebrows. I applied primer to my eyelids to bring out the eyeshadow colours more. I applied the lightest colour all over my eyelid and then put the green in the middle and blended it with my finger outwards. After that, I put the darker green on the outside and blended it into the middle. The key for this one is to blend, blend, blend and blend some more. Blending is the only reason this looks so good. Then I applied the eyelashes with tweezers, let them set and then put liquid eyeliner on the top lid where the eyelashes had not met up. After that, I put pencil eyeliner on the bottom. The last thing was just putting a dap of green on my lips to finish it off. The lips could have done with some gloss, but it was just a rush job :] March -Beautiful-Disgrace-'s Entry.
Skin - I used a white body paint, the powder ones you add a little bit of water to, then using a sponge I dabbed it rather than brushing it on, its a lot more effective dabbed on. Eyes - I used the white body paint around my eyes on anywhere that doesn't have black, then I used stargazer black eye dust on the top and bottom (use concealor underneath the eye dust to make it more effective and last longer) I then used Collection 2000 liqiud eyeliner on the top and bottom and for the flicks though you can barely see them, just to accentuate the point I have brought the eyeshadow to. I then used NYC false eyelashes on the top, volumised with bougois Volume Glamour. I also used false lashes on the bottom to give it a feathery effect - I had to use a cottom bud to get the glue where I wanted it without getting it everywhere then applied the gems. rrLips - I used loreal glam shine in chrystal rose glow. 1) Apply your makeup as usual. 2) Apply eyelash glue to wherever you want gore. Let it dry. 3) Make tears and holes in the dried eyelashe glue using tweezers/ your fingers. 4) Fill the holes/ tears in my various shades of red lipstick. 5) Warm some scar wax between your hands and apply to anywhere you want looking bumpy/ congealed. 6) Add black eyeshadow to the edges of the tears. Inspiration: Marionette/Puppet Used: Well I actually forgot all my make-up this day, so I had to improvise with paint for the art room lol Already had MAXfactor's cream foundation, used a mineral foundation for more of a doll look and had eyeliner on half my lower lash line. Red paint for cheeks and lips, Black paint for upper lash line and lines near my mouth for the opening mouth effect and a little bit on my brows. November SchizophrenicJesus
First start with foundation. I use Covergirl trublend, the powder, stick and foundation. Cover face with foundation, around the entire eye with the stick and in troubled areas, and cover entire face/eyes with powder(this makes the stick around the eyes not be so sticky and crease). After that I cover the entire top lid up to just under the eyebrow with a skin colored revlon eyeshadow. Then I started off with added a black revlon eyeshadow on the crease. Then I got a hold of a nyc purple pencil and drew from under the eye to creat a flick, and then placed purple hip loreal eyeshadow over the eyeliner(to make the eyeliner not smudge and less sticky and more precise, while also getting a really saturated color that won't fade) and continued to blend with the black. I used white revlon eyeshadow and highlighted the inner corners of my eye and just under the brow, and used a wine colored nyc pencil to fill and extend the brow. I topped everything off with a black nyc pencil in the inside of your eye on the corners and a white nyc pencil in the middle and used covergirl lashblast mascara on the top and bottom lashes and used the same wine pencil for the eyebrows to line the lips and filled in with a brandless crappy red lipstick that turns out hot pink when put on and covered it with a clinique lipgloss to create the shine. And that covers everything in this incredibly in depth guide. |
