Welcome to my page on VampireFreaks

I'm a very eclectic person. You might think you can figure me out, but there is so much more to me. Music, art, dancing are my life. I enjoy meeting new people and learning new things. If you wish to add me to your friends, feel free, just drop me a message telling me you are so I can return the favor. I'm silly, serious, honest, make others smile, kind, caring, sharing, tough, mouthy, opinionate, and will help anyone who asks. This is just a taste of who I really am. I have no time to beat around the bush or play games and am tired of people who do. I have no problem joining a cult here so long as I don't see "Oh my gosh, send me a sign" or "I hate everything, join us". I'm getting quite particular in my age and have no time for childish bs. I enjoy a good water fight or a random silly string covert attack, but I thank God each day I'm no longer a teenager.
Name: Emily Age: 29 Sex: Female Location: Northern Vermont Orientation: Straight Status: Contently single, but open to a long term relationship Children: Someday Height: 5'4" Body Type: Voluptuous Hair Color: Blonde Eye Color: Blue/green/grey/gold Ethnicity: Caucasian/Native American Beliefs:Protestant/Very Spiritual Piercings: Five in each ear and one on the right side of my nose Tatoos: None yet, still don't know what I'd want Career: Artist/Business Owner Education: Bachelor's Degree Major: Studio Art Minor: Art History Favorite Scent: Vanilla, Strawberry, Black Opium My name is Emily and I currently live in one of the most isolated places in the United States, but hoping to move ASAIC (as soon as I can). I've always been a unique person and have done many interesting things in life and many stupid things that I'll never do again. Christianity and spirituality have been the staple of my life and have brought me to where I am today. I've been called a character with character and that I corrupt others by giving them notions. It all depends on if the person likes me or not. I'm visually impaired and have been since birth. Yes I can see, just not as clearly as most and require a magnifier to read books. School wasn't easy at all, but I graduated from UVM in 2001 with my Bachelor's Degree. I can't drive, but enjoy going places. There are no glasses, contacts, or surgery that will help. No I don't have a seeing eye dog and no I don't need a cane. I was given a cane in college by the state so "other people can identify me as blind". I still think that idea was very patronizing, but I've kept it folded and brought it to a concert so I could get closer seats. I can also unfold it to walk across the street and see how fast the cars stop. However, I use my powers for good most of the time. I do get a lot of headaches, but that's why Ibuprofen was invented. After a few years of looking for work, I did a lot of research and found that making my own business was the way to go. I've been making jewelry for over 20 years and have been selling them for about 14 years. The first time I used a computer i was around 5 and have only gotten more techno geeklike as the years go by. Using my skills in art and computers, I was able to create websites and the products to sell. It's been a very slow start with a shoe string budget held together with duct tape, but it's going. Money is great no doubt, but I also want a decent store that sells what I like. Quality and affordability are a must. It is a business I would/do shop at. I've always been a punkgoth and love playing with my hair. I did the multi color phase in high school and college, but was told after a certain age to grow up. Why? I said, there are so many out there who love to be creative and infect others with self expression. I've been making falls for about a year and am still exploring how to make them unique. I hope to expand my stock with items from other reputable companies, but will always make unique items. Over the past few years, I've been in a few rocky relationships, trying to find that special someone and also trying to find myself. Looking back I've seen how sad I was and have taken this time to heal and change for the better. My past experiences have strengthened my spiritual beliefs and I now know what it is I've been searching for. The best way I've found to date is online since most of the men where I am are well let's just say are not my type. There might be someone, but I haven't found that person yet. I believe in soulmates and how nothing is left up to chance. Eventually I want to get married and have a family. All things in their own time. I'm not in any rush. All in all I'm an upbeat person. I've traveled through many of my psersonal hells and have met dark souls along the way. I'm a fighter and a lover. Things are better now then they have ever been before. I believe everything is a balance and to take things in moderation. I often tell people that my guardian angel has brass knuckles. I refuse to held down by stereotypes by posers who think they are better than I am. I won't call them names because that would taint my karma. As you can see, I do go on. If you want to chat or get to know me more, drop me a message. Enjoy this day and the night. The Other Scene's forumAre you looking for a comfortable place to meet others who are punk/goth/iconoclastic/nonconformist/individual and Christian? A place where we follow the golden rule "Treat others as you would want to be treated". Then welcome to The Other Scene’s forum. We are not like your average Christian site, but believe God is a relationship not a religion. Pierced, tattooed, like loud music, love who you love? Then make yourself at home. My name is Emily, a.k.a. GypsyNightshade, and I started this forum because I was tired of searching endlessly for one like it. There are a few out there, but not one that was what I believed in. I wanted a site that is welcome to all and by all I do mean all. This forum is for ones who are pierced and tattooed, ones who are part of the GLBTA community or are an Ally like myself, and ones who love their mosh pits. This forum is a place where your beliefs aren’t always questioned or argued and we will never force beliefs upon you. God loves us all, no matter what and died for everyone. Music isn’t the enemy and wearing black doesn’t make you satanic. Come and join at http://www.theotherscene.freeforums.org and be at home. | LIKES
