The Porno is an infamous Indonesian post-punk outfit. Already making their introverted appearance since 2004, the quartet finally released their full album debut “SUBLIMINAL” under the flag of Sinjitos Records in November 2009. Rise up from a suburban village called Pondok Gede, The Porno is socialized into the dominant ideology of infancy and trained in subtle and explicit ways to admire the successful and become suspicious of the abilities and integrity of the disadvantaged. Four innocent young men armed with makeshift instruments, with eyes reddened, and the lust for revenge. Ready to change the stereotypes. For each member, the band is principles of options, emphasis, and presentation about what exists, what happens, and what matters.
