I honestly can't really tell. I don't live in another country so I can't really see what they say on news or what the populous says about us. I'm also sure that American tourists don't help. haha. I think mr. LifeForlum just has the 'brian griffin disease' where it just means that he has to be against the popular choice. If it was really cool to be what he is now, he'd become a college frat boy with swag. He has to be the opposite to be the attention getter because he's a "badass".
But there are countries where they view our country as a heaven like metropolis where everything is perfect and your biggest dreams can come true. But they have very small dreams usually of getting a job or owning a small business.
