It's a Gender-Bender. Well, to be fair it's first arc is a gender-bender. The series itself plans to be a transformation-based series founded upon the idea of "Conservation of Detail to Reality".
As an example if, say, a person were changed into a cat...Then a cat would have to be changed into a person!
Likewise if we apply it to 'zombies'...to bring someone back to life would require either a lot of energy or the life of someone else.
The reasons for this is: 1) Comedy 2) Just like simple physics keeps universal constants constant (duh), simple spells would tend to keep as many "universal constants" as constant as possible. 3) A foil and/or partner.

At least one connecting thread will be Shiko (if the name stays), a female Japanese magician that needs practice. Each major plot-arc will be based upon either an accidental use or misfunction of her magic or a deliberate attempt at a simple spell.
The mini-plots, however, will hopefully be slice-of-life interspiced with malfunctioning magic. And hopefully it becomes awesome.

I go away for about a year. I leave despite being pretty active in highly-active cults on here predominately because I need to focus on school and stuff.
I come back during Easter Break, after getting my load down to a couple things and actually remembering...And I've talked to less than ten people since Thursday.
So I start being active and it's dead. What the fuck?
First, when someone asks a question RELATING DIRECTLY TO A SCRIPTURAL STATEMENT, the answer, to keep the question relevant to its context, must be kept within the context of SCRIPTURE.
To answer the question in, say, a Historical context means that the verse provided is invalid as scripture. And in many cases of religious statements there is a contradiction between the Scriptural and Historical contexts.
Hence when someone claims that "all glory be to God" who is 'infinitely more powerful, intelligent, and capable' than us mere humans...you do NOT answer the question of "Then why do innocent people suffer?" with "Look to history".
Additionally, the claim of "sin" against "innocent people", specifically children, is a non-starter as they couldn't control the situation that they were born into and hence are suffering through no fault of their own. Which directly means that they are NOT suffering because of "sin"...especially when you have people like me in pretty consistent comfort.

Now, the big thing I want to focus on is the "historical" aspect. I know perfectly well why people suffer HISTORICALLY. But why doesn't God, if the verse is anywhere near even half valid, do anything to at least hinder the suffering of the innocent people?
I mean I have a dozen ways that, if I were as the verse describes, would function to help them while hiding my existence. And a hundred more that would reveal myself directly.
