What Is Sexy? December 19, 2011, 10:53:pm
Well, I'm bored and I thought this would be fun.
Here is a list of things that I find extremely attractive.

Big Hands
Photobucket
I like a man with big hands, and they don't have to be freakishly big, they just have to be big enough to make my tiny hands look even more dainty meow

Stubble
Photobucket
Clean shaven is very nice too, but I really don't mind the rough texture of stubble on my chin when we kiss.

Jawbone/Cheekbone
Photobucket
Having that said, a strong jawline or defined cheekbones is really sexy. I like sharp features and angular faces. And some of you wonder why Johnny Depp is such a turn on. drool

Collarbone
Photobucket
horny It's hard to not bite my lips when thinking about this. I love the general neck area. From sending sweet kisses on their neck, to nibbling on their earlobe, to grabbing someone from their shoulders. If your collarbones are showing, have no doubt I am already daydreaming about them!

Hipbones
Photobucket
Pretty obvious. Got the whole "V" shape thing going or some great hipbones? It's sure to turn some heads.

Eyes
Photobucket
Someone with great big beautiful eyes. You could just stare into them all day, not speaking and everything would be said. <3

Smile
Photobucket
A great smile. Doesn't matter what kind. A mischievous smile. A smirk. A secretive smile. A goofy smile. So cute, just so cute. Making people smile and laugh makes me smile and laugh too. We need more of that, don't we? I feel really warm though if I'm the reason to make you smile.

Lips
Photobucket
Truthfully, this is more about girls lips. I'm just a hug lip lover. I love seeing lipstick ads and the way a model parts her lips before a shot is taken, dunno why. But I appreciate it when a guy has some nice soft kissable lips too. Maybe ours are meant to fall together? kiss

Tattoos
PhotobucketPhotobucket
Preferably sleeves. I love tattoos. On anybody. I would love them on me. I love them on men. I love them on models. I once saw an old lady and her boyfriend walking around Hollywood, she was dressed like little miss young thing and had plenty of tattoos. I just felt so happy and proud of her to dress and look how she wants to regardless of anything. I guess it's just the artist in me. My body is my canvas.

Style
Photobucket
Men who know how to dress. Ugh, that's just so attractive. Thumbs up from me always. Men who know how to look good. Yes. I can't even explain. Maybe because I'm into fashion. I just love a guy who's not afraid to accessorize. It shows off his eccentricity more. (:

Playful yet Courteous
Photobucket
Ideally, we all want someone to get along with, play around with, but also remembers to always respect you. Not really sure why I chose this image. I think cause I like being picked up too. But yeah, not someone you have fun with, but always the time of your life with. Where every moment is a memory or a great story to tell.

Loves Animals
Photobucket
Has to like cats as much as I do! kitty I love dogs too, but cats are precious. It just makes me a little sad when someone doesn't like cats. And someone who doesn't like animals is out of the question. Someone who deeply loves animals like I do means that he must also have a big, kind and, caring heart. heartbeat

Lastly…
Photobucket
Someone I have a lot in common with. I don't like nor want to share any differences, I don't mean to say I want to be the same person. I want us each to be independent and for him to have his own dreams and goals. I just love it when there's a lot in common or when he's happy to enjoy in something I like. This picture works because… I have that exact same gameboy color!! Transparent purple!

Something to add on, I love love love black hair and blue eyes. Doesn't matter a whole lot, trust me. But the contrast just makes me go wow!

Anyway…

The The Impotence of Proofreading November 09, 2011, 04:52:pm

I know I'm not the first one to say it, but it really bothers me when people type like they know nothing of grammar nor spelling.

It's fine if you make mistakes here and there, in fact, sometimes I type too fast that I leave a trail of blunders. I just find it really hard to forgive someone who acknowledges their mistakes and doesn't try to fix them; someone who intentionally writes like a 1st grader (and I don't mean the legibility).
I'm not stupid. I know we're not in school. I know we're not in an exam. Though I wonder if we were, what did you even learn? The fact of matter is not only will you lose opportunities, but you also create this image of yourself as being... well... stupid.
I don't really understand why it's so important to keep this habit. It's not making you smarter. It's not making you cooler. It's sure as hell not making people like you. I can bet that if you were challenged to write an essay, nay, a properly formed paragraph, it'd go right over your head. You wouldn't even know where to start.
I'm not denying that English is one of the hardest languages to learn. Even if it is your native tongue, we don't go through years of elementary school, middle school, high school until college to learn a language that you supposedly already know how to use.

So I deplore your continuation of this convention.
Or else you're going to sound like a dumbass, as illustrated above.

TIM f*cking MINCHIN October 07, 2011, 12:26:am
Photobucket

THAT right there...is my ticket to see TIM MINCHIN
It sold out minutes after, he always sells out his shows in LA.
I felt so lucky!
I couldn't believe I was going!

As I arrived, I began to walk to the Largo from my parking spot..
and I heard a distinctive Australian voice! I recognized it as Tim's. So I stopped in my tracks, for a minute, whipped my head and saw him arriving, walking in backstage. I silently squealed my excitement to myself.
Normally, any other big fan would have approached him and talked to him, but I'm not normal. I wouldn't know what to say and make a fool of myself and I really do think celebrities don't want to be pestered with fans, no matter how sweet.

When I got there, the gate was closed, but a couple minutes later and a man was asking for names, handing out a piece of paper with assigned seating, told us show starts at 8:30pm and gave me a blue safety pin handstamp (which hasn't even worn off yet :-D)

Photobucket

So I had about half an hour to spend and I was walking down the block and came across a big Halloween store! It had costumes for everyone, wigs, makeup, masks, hats, weapons, even huge house decorations. I ended up walking around and pressing all the buttons for all the scary attractions. I was terrified and giggling the whole time. See? I'm weird. When I'm scared, I laugh. This was the creepiest one to me though cuz it had sensors to know when to turn on when someone walks by!

http://youtu.be/PJJzgGrPo4U

(I know, I know. Even though I'm holding my phone right side up, it will upload a video in landscape)

Finally, finally! It was time to return and go find my seat. I was assigned H14, which I know means nohing to you, but it wasnt too far back at all. Also, please note, bad lighting plus my 3.2 megapixel phone camera is a combination for crappy photos. But nonetheless, here's the stage:

Photobucket

The show began 6 minutes late, but I forgive him because Tim is fucking incredible!!
He played so beautifully and every song was perfectly melodic.
He opened with Rock N' Roll Nerd.
And then he made a funny joke about getting a haircut, which proved funnier when he said it was a lie. He hasn't got a haircut in a long time.
[I can't possibly recreate every story or joke he told, though I'd like to, but he told it best so I won't try]
And after every two songs the lights would go out and I would think "Oh god, don't let him be done yet" He then began to alternate between songs I recognized like: If I Didn't Have You, Lullaby and Prejudice, with some new material/songs I wasn't so familiar with (this is because I have seen all his stuff on Youtube and either he didn't post it there or on some AU/UK region DVD which I obviously can't play) but his new DVD finally came in Region 1, which means the US and I will get to watch and own. =]
He ended the show with an intro to I Will Survive and went into Darkside.
But then he had two encores.
The absolutely last thing he performed was Hallelujah by Rufus Wainwright, which is a beautiful song and if you disagree because you're non-christian then you're stupid. [I'm atheist myself and religion and music don't have to conflict, but that really is another rant for another day.. perhaps].
Anyways, haha, he said as he was performing and making us sing along (it was really a beautiful thing), that he likes to tour America, gather groups of atheists, put us in a dark room, and make us sing Hallelujah.
rofl
lol, seriously my reaction to everything he said lol fucking lol

Overall, it was the one of my best nights.
Maybe next time I won't have to go alone (which I forgot to mention, the crowd was older and married and really made me feel out of touch with my generation, but sad meh)
Maybe next time I get to wait for him to sign me something and take a picture, but it was rather late and not a night on the weekend. I had school early the next day and needed my sleep.
It was so worth it and I will go see him whenever I can!

Top Ten Myths About Introverts April 29, 2011, 08:08:pm
Myth #1 – Introverts don’t like to talk.
This is not true. Introverts just don’t talk unless they have something to say. They hate small talk. Get an introvert talking about something they are interested in, and they won’t shut up for days.

Myth #2 – Introverts are shy.
Shyness has nothing to do with being an Introvert. Introverts are not necessarily afraid of people. What they need is a reason to interact. They don’t interact for the sake of interacting. If you want to talk to an Introvert, just start talking. Don’t worry about being polite.

Myth #3 – Introverts are rude.
Introverts often don’t see a reason for beating around the bush with social pleasantries. They want everyone to just be real and honest. Unfortunately, this is not acceptable in most settings, so Introverts can feel a lot of pressure to fit in, which they find exhausting.

Myth #4 – Introverts don’t like people.
On the contrary, Introverts intensely value the few friends they have. They can count their close friends on one hand. If you are lucky enough for an introvert to consider you a friend, you probably have a loyal ally for life. Once you have earned their respect as being a person of substance, you’re in.

Myth #5 – Introverts don’t like to go out in public.
Nonsense. Introverts just don’t like to go out in public FOR AS LONG. They also like to avoid the complications that are involved in public activities. They take in data and experiences very quickly, and as a result, don’t need to be there for long to “get it.” They’re ready to go home, recharge, and process it all. In fact, recharging is absolutely crucial for Introverts.

Myth #6 – Introverts always want to be alone.
Introverts are perfectly comfortable with their own thoughts. They think a lot. They daydream. They like to have problems to work on, puzzles to solve. But they can also get incredibly lonely if they don’t have anyone to share their discoveries with. They crave an authentic and sincere connection with ONE PERSON at a time.

Myth #7 – Introverts are weird.
Introverts are often individualists. They don’t follow the crowd. They’d prefer to be valued for their novel ways of living. They think for themselves and because of that, they often challenge the norm. They don’t make most decisions based on what is popular or trendy.

Myth #8 – Introverts are aloof nerds.
Introverts are people who primarily look inward, paying close attention to their thoughts and emotions. It’s not that they are incapable of paying attention to what is going on around them, it’s just that their inner world is much more stimulating and rewarding to them.

Myth #9 – Introverts don’t know how to relax and have fun.
Introverts typically relax at home or in nature, not in busy public places. Introverts are not thrill seekers and adrenaline junkies. If there is too much talking and noise going on, they shut down. Their brains are too sensitive to the neurotransmitter called Dopamine. Introverts and Extroverts have different dominant neuro-pathways. Just look it up.

Myth #10 – Introverts can fix themselves and become Extroverts.
Introverts cannot “fix themselves” and deserve respect for their natural temperament and contributions to the human race. In fact, one study (Silverman, 1986) showed that the percentage of Introverts increases with IQ.
