So my first update in 2012 is a fact I had a slow start because the first two weeks of the year I’ve spend in Russia. Once again I felt at home there and I had an awesome time with my Bloodburn. Russia is beautiful covered under a blanket of snow. It finally gave me this winter feeling I haven’t had in the Netherlands this year. It’s about 10 degrees warmer as it should be and snow is nowhere to be seen, so Moscow was a welcome trip ^.^ In spring I will return to Russia again and I’m already looking forward to it!
Anyway, back to my photoshoot again. I’m wearing cat ears more often lately. I have 7 pairs now. Some of them are UV-reactive and modern, and others are cute, fluffy and decorated with ribbons and little bells. Because I love them so much I came up with the idea to do a kitty cat photoshoot. A while ago I met a girl who made cat ears and cat tails herself. She has all kinds of designs and colours.
She made me a cute pair of ears, a cat tail and a pillow cover. All of them are made in the colours of the Cheshire Cat. One of my favourite photographers was very interested in this idea so we’ve decided to work together with his bright pink background! To make sure that I could still be seen in this background, I’ve tried to keep the rest of my outfit black. I like colour overdoses, but more in calm backgrounds
The photographer is a big cat lover who has several cats himself. All very beautiful and nice animals. So it wasn’t that hard to collect some nice cat things. Mice, little toys and some bowls were a great decoration for this photo shoot. The catbasket I found by accident in the photographers house. It was perfect for the photo shoot, so I took that as well! The brushes are actually the brushes that belong to my guinea pigs, but oh well, they look cat like as well. The bag is also mine and so are the goggles. I have an insane amount of them as well and they really match this theme
So after collecting the entire set and the outfit is was only a small step to make another photo shoot. I’m extremely happy with the results and I love these pictures very much! Stay tuned for more from Erik and me, because in 2012 we will work together more often and I already have some ideas in mind!

This entry is about a very special project. Let’s start at the beginning. Back in April I met a guy here on vampire freaks. I’ve added him to Skype and we’ve been talking for hours. The more I’ve talked, the more clear it became how similar we are. We had the same opinions and liked the same things. What started as just a regular talk, ended in a romance. There was only one problem, the distance… His location: Moscow, Russia.
In June I couldn’t handle my curiosity anymore. I got myself a visa and plane tickets and I went to Moscow. I went there all alone, and I don’t recommend this to anyone, because a ‘blind date’ in another country is very dangerous. But I knew I had to follow my heart and I trust him very much. He and his brother picked me up at 2 AM from the airport. It was a very weird but beautiful night. His brother was driving and we were sitting in the back seat talking and holding hands.
I had an awesome week and even though Russia and The Netherlands are nothing like each other, I felt home immediately. I never had that feeling before. When I came back home in the Netherlands the torture started. We were both heavily in love and missing each other very much. In October it was his turn to come to the Netherlands for the first time.
Because I wanted some beautiful memories I’ve organised a photoshoot for us. He was a little nervous because he only did a few photoshoots so far, and knew he would be working with an advanced model. It seems he’s gifted, because he did great! The outfits were my idea, but I wore lime green dreads and contacts for the first time, just for him *wink* It is a beautiful memory of ten days we’ve been spending together. A memory I want to share with the world!
The future you ask? For now we keep flying to each other as much as we can. Eventually he wants to move to the Netherlands, so he’s taking Dutch courses for some time now. I’m studying Russian for 5 months now. I don’t really need it because we both speak English fluently, but I want to learn it to talk with his friends and family and to learn more about his roots. For the first time in my life, I really think that this is the one…
I’m preparing for my next trip to Russia. In January I’ll go there again for two weeks. It’s going to be cold, but I’m sure my boyfriend will keep me warm. Now and forever <3

The beautiful autumn colours are disappearing slowly. The days get shorter and they are getting colder. The gloves, scarves and warm boots have been pulled out of the closet… Yes! Winter is coming again! I have nothing against snow and Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year, but for one thing winter is not ideal… photoshoots on location! I’ve done a few photoshoots in the blistering cold and I seriously hate it. So upcoming winter all shoots will take place in warm, cozy studios!
Moving all the photoshoots on location to spring has some benefits. I have more time for things like designing and sewing new outfits, editing pictures, updating websites and last but not least: partying! I’ve been to a handful of parties lately and I think that I should go more often.I’ve been a flyermodel for quite some parties over the last months and when I’m on a flyer I always try to go to that party. Or at least when it’s not too far away

December 10th, Official Vampirefreaks Party Spain Spain... It has been quite some time since I’ve last been there. I love the people and the culture and I’m sure I’ll go back to Spain some day, but sadly enough not in the near future. December 17th, Morticia Ahhh, the good old days. I’ve been to this party before and if I can find a place to spend the night, I’ll go there as well. It’s a nice gothic darkwave electro EBM party in Hengelo in the Netherlands. It’ll be nice to see some people again I haven’t seen in ages. Once upon a time, far far away…. She had a worriless life. A nice family, a beautiful house, a good education, but that all changed when her father died. She lived with her stepmother and her two daughters in her father’s house. Her stepmother and sisters weren’t very respectful to her. She needed to do all the cleaning and other tasks. Her stepsisters didn’t do anything at all.
One day the family received an invitation for the royal ball. The whole family was invited to this ball where they would meet the handsome and young crown prince. Her stepsisters got the most gorgeous jewellery and the most beautiful dresses.
“Maybe I can go to the castle and look through the window?” She asked her stepmother. “You’re not done cleaning yet.” Her stepmother replied. “I’ve done everything you’ve asked!” She said. Her stepmother walked to the kitchen and threw two bowls on the floor. “When I’ll be back all the peas should be in one bowl and all the grain in the other one.” Her stephmother laughed and walked away.
She sat on her knees trying to sort out the grain and peas. She took a deep breath. It will take a week to finish. She wished fairytales would be real. Sadly enough there aren’t any pumpkins that can turn into a carriage or white mice that turn into horses. One of the kitchen knives was glittering in the evening sunlight. It was time to change things back to the way they used to be.
With the knife in her apron she climbed on a horse. In the middle of the forest she waited for her stepfamily to come by. She galloped towards them and stabbed her stepmother in her chest. She enjoyed the look on her face. Her stepmother couldn’t believe this was real. One of her stepsisters cried and held her mother in her arms. She also stabbed her stepsister deadly.
The second stepsister ran off. But she was a lot quicker on her horse. She jumped of her horse on her stepsister. “Please don’t!” her stepsister begged her. “My mom made me do those terrible things.” Her stepsister cried. “It’s time to learn that you are responsible for your own actions.” She lifted the knife and also killed her other stepsister.
Suddenly she heard a sound behind her. She hid the bloody knife and turned around. She was facing the guards of the prince. When she looked further, she saw the prince was also there. She started to cry. “It was horrible, there was this pack of thieves.” She looked them directly in their eyes “They’ve killed my mistresses. I lost everyone.”
The prince felt very sorry for the beautiful young maid. He lifted her up and put her on his horse. He joined und put his arms around him. She finally got what she wanted so badly. She was allowed to stay at the castle as long as she wanted. The pack of thieves never got arrested, so it was better for her to stay with the prince. The king and queen were against the marriage between their son and a maid at first. But the prince didn’t gave up. He wanted to marry the helpless girl he saved.
