When my life finally seemed to turn out allright, today everything crashed again.. Trying to find some comfort with my friends, I realised I have none. At first they tried to cheer me up, and I was thankfull for it.. After a while they tried to take adventage of the situation and tried to get me into their bed.. With an excuse of loving me..
Mood: Angry, upset, crying

Okay, so today I met a guy on the bus who, like me, loves 70's post-punk music. We started talking because of the fact we were both wearing a Ramones shirt. Anyway, our conversation went very good, talking about great bands like Mc5, The New York Dolls, The Stooges, and ofcourse the Ramones; he suddenly said something I dissagreed with, namely that 'punk' band these days like Greenday, Simple Plan, Anti-Flag and Sum 41 suck and ruined everything..
I replied and told him; "Look guy, if Johhny Ramone would still be alive, he'd be LOVING those bands! I mean, the Ramones where one of the first bands introducing this genre, and I love them for doing this. All these bands sing about the same subjects, so why love the old and hate the new? It's all one experience, and you have to be glad that there are people out there keeping the spirit alive! In the song "Rock 'n Roll Radio', Joey Ramone even feared that these glory days where over, so I'm sure he'd also be glad to know they ain't!
And sure, the Ramones will always be number one, 'cause God is greater than a priest."
Suddenly, he stood up and called me a poser. I laughed at him and thought 'poor guy', nostalgia is wonderful, but why let the punk-movement die when it's more alive than ever?

Music: Ramones - Merry Christmas (I don't want to fight tonight) Mood: So excited baby!
