Heavy Metal Nation is all about having your opinion published when it comes to heavy music.

If you like any heavy music, and think you have the ability to write something about it, either positive or negative, then Heavy Metal Nation is for you.

Check out www.heavymetalnation.com and get your opinions published.

How does it work? Well, in the dark ages before the internet, fans of music had things called "Street Press" - that is, free magazines that anyone could submit to.

Heavymetalnation.com is the internet equivalent - it's all done on a voluntary basis - if there was money in this kind of thing, then there'd be lots of sites like it.

All you need to do is check out www.heavymetalnation.com and if you like the idea, click on the menu where is says "Submit" and follow the instructions. Pretty simple.

What are the benefits? Well, you can get your opinions published for one - no submissions are rejected unless they come from the band being reviewed - musicians can review other people's work, but not their own. If you run a street team, this is a powerful tool for you, because you can get articles about your patron band published!

If you get a reputation for doing good work, bands will send you CDs to review - this is done on an honour system, and if you don't review the stuff bands send you, they'll think you're a cunt - now who wants a band to think of you like that?

We take all types of articles - obviously reviews, (CDs, DVDs websites, live shows, books, magazines, band merchandise, anything that gets your wanting to write shit down), interviews, buying guides (ie which albums from band X are worth your money, and which are not), fan experiences, opinion pieces, and anything else you feel the need to write down.

So, if you've read this far, this should be something you are interested in. Get your ass into gear and submit some shit! Your first submission should be accompanied by a profile on just who you are.

PS: If you have skill with html, then you can also be a page editor, or even better, submit your articles as a html-ready page rather than a word not allowed This is welcome, but not essential. If being a page editor interests you, let us know!
