Das Debütalbum „Gothic Electronic Anthems" erschien 2003, wurde von begeisterten Kritiken seitens der nationalen sowie internationalen Presse begrüßt und schaffte es unter die Top 3 der niederländischen Club-Charts. Die Schlagzeile im Metal Hammer UK lautete „Die Untoten sind wiedergeboren". Hierzulande konnten GOTHMINISTER bereits mehrere erfolgreiche Club-Singles in den Top 15 verbuchen, darunter „Angel" und „Devil". Sie sind bei allen großen deutschen Festivals wie dem WGT und Dark Storm Festival aufgetreten, wurden bereits dreimal in Folge zum M`Era Luna eingeladen und haben gemeinsam mit Bands wie Oomph!, In Extremo und Within Temptation vor über 10 000 begeisterten Fans beim Schattenreich Festival in der Oberhausener ARENA gespielt. Ihr zweites Album Empire of Dark Salvation katapultierte GOTHMINISTER auf eine völlig neue Ebene. Platz der Deutschen Alternative Charts, und große Erfolge in Übersee zeitigten GOTHMINISTERs erste Headliner-Tour durch die USA, die die Band von New York nach Hollywood führte. 2008 ist es nun endlich soweit: GOTHMINISTERs lang erwartetes drittes Album „Happiness In Darkness" erscheint am 14. November 2008 bei e-Wave/Drakkar/SonyBMG.
