Biography Era Nocturna is a studio project that I (Dae Noctem) started in 1999. To date I have released two albums, Prelude (2002) and De Profundis (2006), the former a darkwave/electro offering in stark contrast to the neo-electronic classical latter. Era Nocturna began as an exploration in emotional expression when I was just 18 years old and since then I've seen my fanbase grow in the near-decade that the project has existed. In that time I have collaborated with several artists both within and outside of Era Nocturna, most notably Heavenly Creatures and Finkster. In addition to these collaborations Era Nocturna took part in a CD compilation named The Fog Presents Silence to benefit gothic people in need. This was an especially satisfying project to be a part of as I feel very strongly about social issues and I use the attention my music gets to bring awareness to the topics that matter to me. At present I have completed the recording for Lackluster which is now being mixed by Dr. Ohm of Heavenly Creatures who I feel deserves a status as an official member of the project. In the meantime I have begun working on a follow up album with guitarist/engineer Rob Granniss. I release all of my own work independently as I have not yet felt the need to involve a record label in my work. In time I will explore the idea of performing live on a somewhat regular basis but for the time being Era Nocturna remains a studio collaboration between myself, Dr. Ohm, and Rob.
