HarryPotterStory is a Harry Potter roleplay cult created in 2007 by Sheryl (who has had various usernames since and was the original owner) and Kathryn (who is still englicana, and the current owner).
The aim was, and still is, to be an RP community. We're not fussed about being the biggest or the best HPRP cult out there, we just want to be a cult where people can RP as they wish and make friends (cheesy, ano).
The cult has been separated into three subforums called "Worlds" in order to provide members with a variety of areas and characters to RP.
World 1
This is for the usual kind of RP. You can have a max of two characters (let me know in the "taken characters" thread who you want). You can do anything you want here with your characters and interact with everyone. You can make whatever threads you want. If you're creating a thread for just you and another user then you might want to say so in the thread title (eg. CLOSED) or thread description so you people know and don't randomly barge in.
World 2
Here you can pick any character(s) you want and use them just in the threads you create with people. You can ask whoever you want to RP in your threads (but don't jump into someone elses without asking first). Again, you can do whatever the hell you like here with whoever you like. If you don't have someone to RP with here then ask for someone to be a character (for example put "Hermione needed!" in your thread title) or post in the "requests" thread asking for a certain character, someone to rp with in general, or post a plot idea and see if anyone is interested.
World 3
Rated R RP for the slightly more "mature" RP-ers. Anything goes, no matter how explicit. Request RP partners if you don't have one in the requests thread. This is so you can be as rated R as you like without worrying about burning the eyes of the poor young innocents XD. You can still, of course, rp R rated stuff in either of the other worlds (but put a warning just before you start?). This is just a place purely for that sort of thing.
