Avenged Sevenfold is a five piece band from Huntington Beach , California. There are so many arguments on what genre of music A7X is, well as they state themselves they aren't another type of music or sound they are in a group all their own. A7X started in late 1999 which is also the logo for Zacky V's Clothing line, yet his is an upside down and backwards version of it.The five members that make up Avenged are know as M Shadows, Synyster Gates, Zacky Vengeance , Johnny Christ And The Rev. But to the rest of the normal world They are known as Matt Sanders, Brian Haner Jr. Zachary Baker,Johnathan Seward, and James Sullivan.
They have recorded and released counting their EP five cd's in total, Warmness On The Soul Ep which was released August 8, 2001. Then came Sound The Seventh Trumpet which was let out the first time in 2001 by Good Life then later released on Hopless on March 19, 2002. To follow their one all hardcore screaming sound would come Waking The Fallen which was only half screaming and the other half singing. After Waking The Fallen was released the boys once again went back in the studio and recorded City Of evil which sky rocketed them to number one on the ever so popular MTV show TRL, with the song Bat Country. This cd unlike all the rest was just singing it was somber and collective.
Many people say that Shadows doesn't scream because of the surgery he had to repair a blood vessel in his throat because everyday he screamed on Warped tour he popped it over and over and wouldn't have been able to sing by the time he was 30rd. Which is a complete and utter bold face lie, he and the band chose back before they recorded WTF that they wanted to take their sound in another way. This statement has even been talked about on the boys DVD by Murdock.
"One thing I'd see a lot on the internet, and I hear a lot about, and that I just want to set the record straight on. When I met the band after Sounding the Seventh Trumpet had come out and before they recorded Waking the Fallen, Matt handed me the CD and he said to me "This record's screaming, the record we want to make" (which turned out to be Waking the Fallen) "is going to be half screaming and half singing." Matt said "I don't want to scream anymore but I'm going to make a record that's half screaming half singing and the record after is going to be all singing." They already knew that they wanted to make a record that was all singing, by the time City of Evil came out, and that was 2 years before that record came out. And, all that bullshit about him not being able to scream anymore it's just..it's just not true, it's what the band wanted to do as artists"
Avenged Sevenfold later put out a self titled cd, which the cover art is very similar to Avenged cd Waking The Fallen. Avenged Sevenfold opened many doors and showed a darker side not only for A7X but as well as The rev. Who Wrote Almost easy, A Little Piece Of Heaven,Brompton Cocktail, and Afterlife. Between the mix of a shout out to the government on Critical Acclaim to the somber and country sound of Dear God, this cd made and continues to make A7X what they are today. Music isn't the only love in these lives, each rock star has a girlfriend. Gena, Valary Leana, Michelle and Lacey are the loves of these guys lives. Which its been finally put out from Shadows himself after 11 almost 12 years Him and Valary finally are married !!!!!! as well as Synyster Gates And Michelle. Another day has brought pain and sorrow at the end of the year when it was rumored that James Owen, the Rev found dead at his home and now the news has been confirmed about the Rev death. The police department has revealed that The Rev, James Owen died on Monday 28th December 2009 at his home and there was nothing unnatural in his sad demise. The spokesman of the Police department has stated that the investigations have been started on such a young death of the Rev and reports will be compiled and revealed on completion of investigation. The A7x band confirmed the Rev Death news on their official website by showing their sympathies for the Rev family and declaring the Rev death as a great loss. They stated that the Rev wasn’t only the rocking drummer in the world but a great friend and brother.
September 16, 2008 DITR was released as well as live in the LBC which was 11 track cd with songs that did not make the self titled and as well as covers that we had yet to haqve our hands on in cd form. These boys are working hard for us and still keep on touring all over the world.

3. We understand the guys in Avenged are hot, but we don not want to listen to it this cults about thier music not what they look like.

Owner-TornRagDoll-Ive been a fan for about 5-6 years now. Their music truly has been there for me and this band means the world to me. I have been so grateful to have seen them live and meet them. This band is truly amazingly talented.
Co Owner- Shadowlessgates. I Been An Avenged Sevenfold Fan sinces back in 2000, I've only been to one avenged show but I love the band no matter what. M shadows and Synyster gates are my fav members and wakeing the fallen is my fav cd.
