Anything Else: This is his 8th deployment. He was the first SGT that my husband met when he got to the fleet. They weren't always close, but became that way within a matter of time. Since then, he's been our closest friend in the Marine Corps and we miss him to no end. His son is turning 6 in March, so we're hoping he's home for his birthday. ?

Relationship: He was in the Marines, although he didn't die in combat. He did however get hurt and was put on a homestay. During that homestay, well, he had a party.. Got drunk.. Went out driving.. He wasn't my brother.. But he was the closest thing that I could have asked for as a brother. He was always with us.. His memorial service replays in my head all the time, it's been four years.. I still cry about it every night. It's STILL hard to believe he's even gone.. R.I.P I love you.
