A time, after time.

We are the cult of Thorn, and we are a very complex Role Playing Cult. You can pick any sort of species to be but these are the main ones: Human, Cyborg, Demon, Lycan, Elven, Fae, Vampire, Mer-Person, Angel, Dragon. As soon as you join you will be placed into a Society (team) that best fits you, or be a part of the Renege (a group of creatures against all order). We have Six Societies, they are based on the order of life.

The Society of Life, is based on Angels & Perfects (Angel made creations)and aims for the elimination of Humanity and all "Evil", but their utopian ways are a twisited evil into themselves.

The Society of Dawn, is based on Mer-Folk, Fae and Seelie, they feel that the necessit of "Good" is a must but not the Radical view of the Life, they enjoy Humanity but feel that it is too dirty for this world.

The Society of Destiny, is mainly Lycan, and Dragon, they strive to be the protectors of the flow of eternity, and asist Humanity in any way they can, but they are als creatures and destist lowing themselves in such a way as being threated like helping servants.

The Society of Dawn, mainly Drow, Unholloed, Unseelie, and Necromancers, they are the so called "Evil" in this world but they remember when they were not & for that reason also they have won the right to enjoy their own Society.

The Society of Death, based of Demons, Vampires and the Vile (expiremented on creatues by the Angels) where all evil ways are accepted with no remorse, Humanity is just a way of futher entertainment and they with to enjoy it to the end, in that they sometimes assit them (Humans).

& Finally The Society of Humanity, where the last of the Humans, Cyborgs and Allies of them reside, they just want to live, and die in peace, but their role in the Crimson Wars destroyed that, and now they are hunted down like the animals that they are.

You play your way into winning Gold (points), by posting, role playing, playing games, entering contests, winning contests, being active, inviting, and just having fun.

Gold can not only be won for your team but for yourself (individually) also. You can trade in your individual Gold for prizes like; banners, icons, layouts, personalized graphics, VIP status, premium, &many more special gifts made by the Staff of Thorn just for you!

We have Monthly Role Playing Events for you to mingle with other Citizens, and weekly contests on normal OOC topics. On rare occasion we introduce a detailed Role Playing Event Contest where you get the chance to win a specialized VF layout or Premium.

Here at Thorn, we care about your opinion and have special Poll Votings to hear from you on what needs to change or stay at our cult. We realize that you have a life and will not penalize you for not being active, but please follow the rules. This is a very open and friendly cult, we accept all types of people here and, when you make friends in here, you make friends on VF in general.

Created on September 10, 2008, after the Fall of The Royal Court created before 2007. Eh I bet a bunch of cults are based off of us now! But we don't care, its quite interesting.

BE MATURE, THERE IS LANGUAGE, GORE, MATURE CONTENT & MORE, DON'T JOIN IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE IT!

1. ONLY ONE CHARACTER PER PERSON NO EXCEPTIONS 2. We read, & so we have to know whats going on & you have to post Italics are for Actions, regular font is for story line or speaking, or the opposite, but get a habit of sperating what you do based on how it looks on the post.

3. Keep all Images smaller than 400PX in WIDTH. You may use this code: <img src="URL LINK" width="500px">, or it will be deleted! Don't stretch the threads please! Don't you hate when the page looks ruinned? If you don't know basic editing, don't worry we will help you & or teach you.

4. The only font editing allowed in posts are these: <b>bold</b>, <i>italic</i>, <u>underline</u>,& <s>strike</s> Do not edit the size of your font, unless its a heading! I created the threads a specific font and color theme to flow with the story line & for it to look comfortable to everyone. If you can do fancy additons to threads, thats fine, please share, it will help everyone out.

5. Rule Breakers will have get Xs! Read a thread carefully before you post, also use common sense, the main thing is please don't be an idiot. Ok so the rules are not hard, you can basically do anything that is within vf rules.

REMEMBER: Break a rule you get an (X), 5 X's and you will be kicked out of the cult, you can always join again UNLESS your banned.

6. There are specific threads for specific topics, so use them. Games are games, Rps are Rps, don't mix them.

7. VF SITE RULES DO APPLY! When you join this cult, you have an obligation to follow these rules, failure to do so will result to deletion, or deletion and banishment (BAN), depending on the seriousness of the Crime. If you break the SITE rules, then you will also be reported to the SITE Admin/s, listed within the VF Community Watch and monitored for suspicious actions.

The way things are set up;

So you need some help huh? Well Fist things first, let me tell you about the cult. There are 6 Societies; Life, Dawn, Destiny, Dusk, Death, & Humanity. They are always fighting each other. Within each Society are 3 Houses. Houses can also have Covens. Covens were made so that our members can get more gold, they are also used in team contests.

You can post in any forum and any thread, but read the thread & most recent posts before posting something too. Each forum has a specific subject.

Followers Guide- To help you better understand the cult storyline. Thats mainly where questions are answered, you get put into a Society and there are HELP threads.

Golden Empire- Is where all the important cult business decisions are made. & The center of the cult.

Golden Arena- Where all the contests/events/festivals are placed. Also BONUS threads appear there for additional fun. Look out for Premium prize winning contests there.

Society of ________- This is where your home and place is located, there are specific RPs there for that Society and everything in the forum BELONGS to that Society.

Mermaid Market- Where you trade in points for prizes, & visit Shopees: Layout / Banners / & Icon giving and receiving threads.

Crystal Gathering- Where you can make your own personal RP thread, open for all members. Please title them with a Key Word

Pixie Carnival- Games only threads.

The Goblin Courts- Debate, Polls, and Disscusion threads only.

Golden Hall of Honor- You make your own CHARACTER THREADS there, please take example by other peoples threads.

Thread Title can be changed only by the Staff, if the Staff edits your thread, its for a good reason, you probably broke a rule.

We like things nice and organized, but you can make any kind of Thread or Amount of Threads you want to. The cult owner, randomly makes staff, & no one is obligated to invite or post, but you will win something if you do because, it helps out everyone if your active, this is a place to relax and forget about the outside world so lets make it nice for everyone in our cult.
