The-Altered is a role-play cult set in a futuristic Earth and could be classified as fantasy/sci-fi. Taking place on a small private island, a group of people (who are less human than they appear) build a small army to secure their place in the world and keep the US government from obtaining their goal to build an army of super-humans.
