Our standards here are unmatchable and higher than ever. We strive for intelligence, not looks. Your personal photographer and photoshopped face won't get you anywhere in here. What we do here is talk - we're a family. A place for the few interesting, intellectual and distinguished individuals of vampirefreaks.
We don't have a long list of rejected members on our front page, but once you are denied from Strict, you will also be banned. It keeps you from wasting our time by re-applying. What makes you think we'll change our minds if we rejected you the first time?
We do not require an application, as such things are irrelevant to what we are looking for. Whatever you write in the application box is up to you, and we would suggest doing so if your profile has little to nothing on it - you will be automatically rejected if we have nothing to base a vote on. However, a salute is mandatory. If you decide to disregard this rule, don't even bother. We really only have one main rule, besides posting a salute. Whatever is said in Strict stays in Strict. Nothing leaves this cult.
We're not a cult that claims to be elite when the members do not match the standards. We're not mean, bitter or even antisocial - we simply value quality over quantity. Think you belong here? Then you might as well give it a shot. You never know, right? No salute = no entry!
To all of you who don't know what a salute is, it's your username written on a piece of paper, hand, etc. followed by @ vampirefreaks/VF.com. This proves you are real. Fakes will not be tolerated in here.
You don't need a certain amount of posts to vote on pending members, but honesty is a must. Don't just vote 'yes' on everyone, because that would defeat the purpose of the cult.
There isn't normally much drama in here. However, it is allowed. We have a thirst for this kind of stuff. If you don't like it, don't partake in it. It's as simple as that.
