Welcome to
Shutterflies! This cult is only for new, amateur, blossoming photographers. We are here to share a passion we all share in taking photos. While others enjoy music, dance, fashion, etc. we spend too much time looking at the world through a lens. We are here to give you creative, constructive criticism to the extent that you will know how to take better pictures if you ask. We will have lots of contests, games, and discussion threads relating to photography, cameras, pictures, film, and anything of relation.
No application is required but membership is moderated for a reason. We want this to be a somewhat small, personal, functional cult in which we can all get to know each other better. If you have received an invite from one of the staff, you are automatically accepted. If you join on your own will, we will be simply looking over and reading your profile, basing our judgment on the contents.
With that said, welcome to the cult! We look forward to meeting you. Staff is currently open. If you are interested, check the threads section to be directed to the staff application. 1. Post in the Introduction thread first.
It is very important you do this. If you do not submit a salute of some sort, you will be deleted. We do not tolerate fakes.
2. Photos or comments containing any pornography or discrimination will result in you being reported and removed from the cult.
Photos containing overly graphic images of blood, or anything of the sort as well as nudity is not allowed. Fake blood and artistic nudity (of anyone over the age of 18, of course) is allowed.
3. There is a thing called constructive criticism and we expect you know how to use and take it when you join.
If we find you being downright rude or bashing the photographer's work in a way that isn't constructive, we will warn you only once.
Don't come whining to us if you get butt hurt after you've asked for criticism.
4. Respect not only the staff but your fellow members also.
Any drama may result in removal and locking of the thread.
5. Stay active, why else would you join a cult?
Place a banner somewhere in your profile and invite.
6. All VF rules, of course, are applied here.
If we get in trouble for something you do, we will not be happy.
7. If you have an issue with a member, please contact one of the staff.
