__Welcome to Obscura, home to a society of painters, photographers, MUA's, models, writers and many other exceedingly skilled creators. Here, we do not elect to use percentages in order to keep the overly confident and inquisitive interested in joining, nor do we give anyone an idea of what to surmise when joining. Instead, we welcome you to establish your own opinion and join at your own discretion. Obscura is a cult for artists; that being said, it is obligatory that some examples of your finest artwork should be attached to your application if you are in fact planning to join. This cult has been through many transformations over it's course, but has always held one central idea: adoration of art, and expression in every possible form.

__Our community incorporates the most perceptive, and philosophical individuals of this site. Having said that, we do not greet amateurs to try their luck joining, as we are a highly competent community with entirely no patience for those who solely appreciate art and do not develop it. Though many beg to differ, we deviate from the belief that anything can be art. Art must be strived for; it does not happen purely by chance. The members of Obscura have strived for their creativity and primarily their passion.

__What is spoken in Obscura remains here; certainly no acceptions. This cult is free from melodramatic inhabitants, as well as the routine turmoil found in many other groups. If you're joining and do not know anyone in Obscura, you will not indubitably be accepted, however you will be screened much more closely before you're granted acceptance. If you're joining and have received a personal invitation, or know one or more members of this cult, you may very well have a chance. We do not tolerate arbitrary conduct from anyone who has been rejected from our community and will do as much to take our legitimate place.

__Essentially the decision to accept or reject a member rests on the shoulders of the cult members as well as the owners. Supposing that an applicant has majority of the member's votes in and is seen unfit by the higher positioned staff, they will most likely not enter the cult. As of now, we are only automatically accepting members who have received an invitation. If you have not received an invitation and still believe you would be an exceptional addition to our family, feel free to take your chances with joining.
