AtlantisDescription:  Welcome to Deviltry The times are changing, and the world is slowly having to adjust and accept the reality that humankind isn't atop the totem pole anymore. The United States is having trouble even acknowledging the preternatural creatures, so most people are not even aware they exist, but one city dared to stand up, and not only accept them with open arms, but took it a step further. Deviltry was technically a part of California, though it sat right on the border between California and Oregon. With the people of the world still in denial, refusig to accept the preternatural, a high ranking government official, and local Demon, Rory Von Zeller decided there needed to be a serious change. She declared the city a new territory, much like Washington DC, not part of a state, but it's own territory. The government in Deviltry was reformed. Becoming stronger then ever. A few, select individuals, namely a representative from each preternatural species, formed a council, that would help with all the important decisions facing Deviltry. The human’s still have their mayor, but the council has final say. Human’s take to everything differently, half have no problem, and think they should have every right as humans do, others.. Namely the Religious, believe they’re evil, and should be terminated. The territory is actually quiet large, the atmosphere changing every few miles. There's Rustic, an area with farms, and people who enjoy a slower pace in life, only twenty minutes away, you'll find yourself in the Downtown area, tall, towering buildings, and seedy dealers on every corner. Deviltry can accommodate every type of person and has become the new hot spot in, the wealthy, the famous, tourists, people with big dreams to become famous.. And of course, preternatural beings who wish to live an easier life. About the CultDeviltry is a role-play cult, but this isn't your average role-play cult. No two line replies, boring plots, or bad grammar. We don't sort you into houses, or restrict how you and your characters can grow and evolve. With our VIP system, you can easily rise in ranks by just filling out an application in the cult. There's no creative limits for VIP, you can make home for your characters, have them be whatever you wish. More info can be found in the VIP thread. We are an active and friendly bunch of people with the shared love of role-play. As long as you can follow the simple rules, you'll get along with everyone just fine. We have a zero tolerance for drama, and try to give everyone a safe, judge free environment to express your opinions.
