To chat: When the applet above loads, Click the 'Load Chat Client' Button Enter a nickname (You can leave the rest alone) and click  'Connect' The client will connect, you will be placed in the Vampire Freaks chat room. Other Usefull Info: Note: You don't have to do or know these commands in order to chat, they are just useful. Tip: When logging on, If you get a message saying that the 'Nickname is registered' or your name gets changed to Guest####.. That means that someone has already registered that name and you must choose another (Sorry). Try adding a ` before or after your nick. Like if you wanted the nickname Vampyre but someone already owns it, try `Vampyre or Vampyre` -Changing Nicknames in chat: To change your nickname while in chat type:  /nick NICKNAME Example: If you wanted your nick to be Vampyre You would type:  /nick Vampyre -Private Messages: To message someone privately, just double click their nickname. A new window will open in which you can chat. -Actions: To do an action type: /me Action Example:  /me is bored /me jumps around the room etc. -Registering a nickname: Registering a name will make sure noone else can use your nickname. To register a name, first change your nick to the one you want, then type the following:  /ns register password email Replacing 'password' and 'email' with a password and your email. -After registering: To identify to your nickname (So the server knows it's you) type: /ns identify password 'password' being the pass you entered when your registered. To make it so no one else can use your nickname type: /ns set protect on -Room Operators: OPs are people with a @ by their name.  These people have control over the room.
