(: My internet psuedonym is DOOM (or alternatively Captain Doom, capnDOOM, Doomy, Doomykin, or Doomyboo,) I use it on a lot of websites / chatrooms, whatever, and among my friends, it just sort of stuck! I also have the nickname 'Alice'. I acquired it when I was a child due to my endless supply of curiosity and my tendency to be childish even as I am growing up. I'm a rather withdrawn sort of person, usually the quiet girl in the back of the room with her face buried in a book or just watching everyone else. But once you get to know me, I'm quite opinionated and chatty when it comes to things I care about or things that interest me. Time for a jumbled mess of personality keywords! If you catch me using British slang or mannerisms, it's likely because of an unbelievable fascination with British media and people. By God, I love a nice accent. Anime and visual novels and manga. <3 I absolutely adore Marilyn Monroe films, 1930s monster movies, space, butterflies, Doctor Who, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, coffee, quiet mornings, libraries, Planet of the Apes, candles, incense, tomato soup, cats, cute socks, zombies and stuffed animals. I've recently tried getting into fashion and I love the idea of designing some of my own (which is probably just an idea, but it is a fun thought nonetheless.) There is rarely a time that my nails are not painted or I'm not looking at some sort of magazine or online boutique. Not to say I'm a total prat, honestly. I practically live online. If I could make myself a bed of HTML and bandwidth, I probably would. I play loads of video games; mostly xbox but I emulate gameboy and other systems and play MMOs on the PC. I love antique shops and thrift stores due to the potential to make something new out of something aged. I also love bookshops. I believe that without music, I could not function. I'll probably think of other things to add.
Dislikes
I detest cold tea, holes in my socks, being told something is impossible, closed-minded people, unimaginative persons, animal abuse, high heels that aren't broken in, people, radios that overplay songs. That's odd. Things I like outweigh things I don't for once. I'll add more, I'm sure.

I will probably compile a list once I have time to really go through my music but for now, please feel free to check out my last.fm link. I have an immense collection of music with bits and pieces of probably every genre. I can go from Mozart to Lady Gaga to Nirvana to Cradle of Filth without batting an eyelash or finding it at all weird. I go through phases, which I'm sure a lot of people do when it comes to music. At any given time, I could be on a k-pop / j-pop streak or listening to a bunch of classical or rap or some form of metal, but my preferences are not exclusive to one.
