Acubake System
Profile: What started out as a five piece Screamo band developed into the four piece metal core band Acubake System. Acubake System (which was not the name at the time) began back in March of 2007. It started off as five friends who really enjoyed making Screamo music. When the Screamo band didn't appear to have a bright future ahead of them due to lack of dedication, two members (Jerry Vick: Guitar and Ed Bell: Bass) decided to leave the band and form an entirely new band. Jerry Vick and Ed Bell then began recruiting members for the new band. After considering many possible drummers they decided to pick Alex Bell (Ed's sister) to join the band. After a few weeks of practicing the three realized they didn't want to play Screamo music and they wanted to play Metalcore instead seeing as they are all huge Bullet For My Valentine fans. After yet another month of practice the three realized they needed to add another guitarist to get the fuller sound they wanted. They recruited Cody Janko on rythmn to acquire the full sound they wanted. After one entire summer of writing music the band has begun to play shows and does not plan to stop.
