Zion Ablaze
Profile: Zion Ablaze is a project started by Karolina vel Death (Origanal Vocalist Sacrum of Elegy) and Daniel Gerber (Guitarist and song writer from black metal outfit Ghaul). Our goal is to blend the asthetics and chaotic melody of the norwegian metal scene (that has reinvented rock and metal music), with the vampiric undertones and referance (that embody karolina's vocal ability). It was high in the mountains of zakopane that Zion Ablaze was born. the end product .. we hope ...will be an epic representation of the gothic culture and life style we so love and adore. Zion Ablaze isnt about politics, the haves and the have nots, a stab at religion, self loathing, or rhetoric blabber.Its about the living ...indulging in our animal instincts, celebrating every day (and night...), preparing a feast for the one true god... man. It was an idea in the making since mid 2007..as things in our original band sacrum of elegy were turning sour. Friendships were lost and the music went from a fantastic idea to an embarassing performance at the Cerebal asault gig in Cavan. As Sacrum of Elegy Has moved in a different direction it left its core member Karolina to seek out a new fresh medium for her to compose her art. Daniel was more than happy to collaberate once again with mizz vel Death. The original and inventive aproach to song writing raised a few eyebrows among close friends and interested parties.
