About Me
Good Day...Usually I would relish the opportunity to talk about myself so freely, however as I am not a stranger to this site, or indeed other social networking pages, I find the monotony of filling these out unbelievably droll and therefore will proceed in only writing the bare essentials.
I'm Katy, 23, not thin, not fat and I don't have a perfect body, I am not terribly aesthetically pleasing, I consider myself to be rather plain.
I am a classical singer, always training, I also enjoy taking part in opera, be they abridged versions or full three act plays. I take part in yearly competitions, solo concerts and enjoy working in my local opera company. I am currently studying an Undergraduate Diploma in Music with the hope to be taken on at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, which has been an ambition of mine for a good few years.
I am a pagan, albeit a lapsed one, my faith is there nonetheless. I believe the reason for my absence of worship to be that I find my path to be rather unclear at this time although I am very much enjoying the concept of learning of the Ancient Egyptian form of worship and Magick, specifically as I developed a rather unhealthy obsession with Ancient Egyptian history from a very young age.
I notice that there is a need for a certain degree of fakery on sites such as these and even in every day life as a form of protecting ourselves from the outside world, but truthfully due to my disposition in life I don't know how to act any other way than to be as genuine a person as I can be. At times I wear my heart on my sleeve, sadly this results in getting hurt, however, we live and learn do we not?
I am attracted to both sexes on all levels, but that doesn't mean I am greedy or trying to be "cool" I've always known I was not straight. I also want to make it clear that I do not cheat, I don't believe in polygamy or because my orientation veers towards both sexes (although lately I've found myself veering specifically towards women) I will be with one and sleep with the other, I am a loyal human being. End of.
I do like to write as if I were to speak and I make no false pretences as to the form and use of language I choose. I am very much a studious person and I like my communicative abilities to compliment that. (However I do have days where my use of language does seem rather primitive.) However this can create the belief that I am either arrogant or obnoxious, I would like to believe that isn't true however I shall let you be the judge of that.

Oh, yeah, I understand being the third wheel completely. I've done that many times. I've been in school and practicing my flute like crazy for our solo & ensemble festival in February. I'm in the flute ensemble, and we really want to get a unanimous superior (absolutely perfect). I'm playing 1st part in our piece. I'm so nervous!!
I hope you did well. My Christmas and New Year were pretty much just like any regular day, except there was more emphasis on family time. How were your holidays?
